Royal Enfield officially launched the much-awaited new Meteor 350 in India at Rs. 1.75 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). The Meteor 350 is an evolution of the Thunderbird but the platform is completely new and it will be used in future models too. The design theme is an evolution of the Thunderbird X and it will be offered in three variants with different styling - Fireball, Stellar and Supernova.
The Meteor 350 is powered by 349 cc single-cylinder engine producing 20.2 hp and 27 Nm of torque, this engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The cruiser comes with a 19-inch wheel and 17-inch wheel at the rear. The braking duties are taken care off by disc at the front and rear with dual-channel ABS as standard. Royal Enfield is offering 7-different colour options with the Meteor 350.

Decision to choose fireball varient when all other channels concentrated on supernova is very much appreciated from my side. Thanks to that. Often use to watch your channel from the beginning but commenting for the first time and that to first time in any of the KZbin channel. The new overhead cam engine, new chassis and balancer shaft added to reason for less vibrations in this new meteor 350.

Hi....first of all I appreciate the initiative taken by the Team Pilot on Wheels to make the viewers engaged and offering a Royal Enfield T-shirt. Coming to the Question... The whole effort and research done by The Royal Enfield Company for years to reduce the vibration can’t just be explained in a single sentence. Here is my point of view...maybe right or not.. The the reduction in vibration must be due to the chassis which built much more strong & firm than the earlier versions which in effect made the engine mounted strongly to the chassis. The engine is also a new one and comes with SOHC which makes it more refined and different from the old 350cc engine used in the earlier models. The “wide” handlebar which is inclined towards the rider also helps in reducing vibration. And the counter balance shaft as explained in the video. All these together make the vibrations almost negligible in the all new Meteor 350.
