Using sintered brake pads on discs that are not designed for them can lead to wearing of the rotor disc. Can you please update on whether the disc rotor on Meteor is capable of handling sintered brake pads without any additional wear on the disc?

⁠@@ramanchawla5081 i am using for 1 year now , already changed pads after around 9000 kms . Till now no any wear problem in disc . Disc wear will be there with all kind of brake pads, wear could be higher with sintered pads but with sintered pads braking is good so i feel safe with them .

There is one sound especially it comes when we are ascending the slope. When we accelerate more in 3rd or 4th gear at certain RPM some vibrations come and we feel some coin clanking sort of noise coming from speedo meter or visor for few seconds until we get sufficient acceleration power I checked tapping adjustments and everything but this issue is mystery to RE service center. They are saying this happens in every meteor and just ignore it. But this is very irritating noise in ghat sections when we ascend the slopes continuously. Please let me know if you are aware of this or if anyone is facing this similar issue. Is it engine knocking sound?

Eak bar pura stiff slope sey 1 gear mey niche aaya lagvag 25 30 km ka stretch tha 1 or 2 pey mera toh right handle sey sound aata hey kirrrr karke pata nahi kya hey so irritating. Mera toh engine sey kit kit ka sound aata hey nepal mey aavi bol rahe hey banane ka saman he nahi aaya 🤣🤣 bc 1 saal sey bech rahe hey meteor firv import nahi kar rahe

Yes the rear brake pads touch the rotors and make that sound, and the front pad won't fit. It's a hassle. I wasted ₹4000/- on these brakes.
