There is the monarch, King Charles III and the Prince of Wales is always first in line, followed by Prince George who is second in line to the throne. Princess Elizabeth was the heir presumptive prior to her father's death, because at that time if her parents had another child and it was a boy, he would have actually superceded her in line. Since the ruling on succession based on gender was changed in 2013, allowing primogeniture not male primogeniture to come into play, would there any longer even be a need for the term heir presumptive? At any rate, I don't think it would apply to Prince George at this time as you stated. I may be wrong. Any monarchy experts, I would love an answer, genuinely asking.

As it is George, then when his father William stepped up to heir apparent being the first born, William's firstborn became heir presumptive. This 'Royal Expert' must have given herself that title because she is certainly NOT an expert! Anybody with any knowledge knows that Prince William was NEVER 3rd in line to the Throne . . . that USED TO BE Harry before Prince William became a father. From his birth Prince William was 2nd in line (after his father the then Prince Chatles who was 1st). When our late Queen Elizabeth died, Prince Charles became King Charles and Prince William went from 2nd to 1st in line. Not difficult to know this basic information.
