A couple of things, as I objectively (as an outsider) listen to the good Dr’s story. 1. Bear in mind that this is the royal palace. There’s hundreds (at least) of troops in attendance who have literally sworn to defend the king, his person and family. What exactly were they doing when the entirety of their supreme commander’s family was being blown to pieces? 2. Similarly, it’s a party in royal palace. There’s bound to be servers and attendants serving drinks and all that. How come we have never heard from any of them? Or was our royal family so egalitarian that they did the serving and cleaning all by themselves? 3. how come the victims were taken to all the way to Chhauni when hospitals like Bir hospital or Teaching were much closer. 4. I am in a hurry so can’t find the exact source, but I believe Girija Prasad Koirala, the then PM, was barred from arriving at the scene and when he arrived, the whole scene was being wiped clean. Why do that to a crime scene? Even if I got the minor details wrong, it is incredibly odd that there wasn’t an extensive investigation where experts weren’t extensively engaged. But these are just my quick thoughts regarding the actual events, someone who has studied in greater detail can see how insubstantial this story is. The immediate aftermath is deeply mysterious as well. Maybe the official explanation is the truth, but are we supposed to believe it without a second thought? As much I as I applaud your work, I think you wasted opportunities to ask him the most basic clarifying questions.

Most people don’t believe this story. In this version it has looked at it from one dimension only which is the conflict in the family regarding the love affair of Dipendra. But there’s a lot more that hasn’t been considered. Like foreign intervention from Raw and CIA who didn’t like King Birendra because he wouldn’t bent the knees to them. Also the then terror group Mawobadi who wanted to come to the power but King Birendra was in their way. Dipendra was a very educated and a mature person, I don’t think he would go to such extreme just for the sake of his love interest. I’m sure if he wanted to do it he would have also thought about the aftermath of it. And he would have know the people wouldn’t have spared him. So he wouldn’t take such steps.

I grew up respecting this man and do not wish to say anything against him. However, his views on the mysterious massacre in the royal palace are wrong. He is only quoting what he read or heard people in the fateful night say. As somebody who spent his entire working life being subservient to the royals, it is but natural for him to parrot what the so called ex-royals had to say.

so many things unclear yet. bhai matra le dipendra ko love affair lai support gareko ho bhane ushlai chai kina mareko? parash ko interview ma he said it clearly (he didnt seemed like high in interview) - ma tira banduk takda dai malai namarnu ma kasailai bhandina ani uha le choddinu bho. how believable is this? love life support gareko bhai jo afu huda samma raja ni banne wala thyena. at least tyo point samma chai thyena, ushlai marera parash lai chai choddyo? testo riss ko peak ma parash lai choddyo? tribhuwan sadan bhatkauna lagako kina? k thyo karan? jati sukai yesta manche le statement diyeni my mind will always believe in 2 things. 1 - gyanendra ra parash ko direct plan nabhayeni they knew this is gonna happen and they let it happen and make sure it happens. 2 - nepal army high commands were involved

Dr. Dixit may have spoken like a true gentleman throughout the series, but I refuse to believe the part on royal massacre. His own words are contradictory, if Dipendra was ready to give up his crown, why kill? Yes instances of sons killing fathers WERE prevalent before 21st century. He was the crown prince of now, the modern era, way after the kots and bhandarkhals occured across the world. Agreed, Dipendra had issues with his family members BUT the violence doesn't fit in the puzzle. Killing an entire family w/o security intervening is hard to believe. Anyway, we lost our guardians and I pray that the souls are at peace. We should all move on from this and look forward instead of brining up questions way too many times. It's disrespectful to our history and the deceased. Whatever happened may rest in history.
