Lol. That's a British desease. These guys are wearing swimming trunks when the rest of the world is running around with scarves and gloves and warm winter jackets. They never seem to be cold. I went to Scotland and nearly froze my a... off in Tarbert when these guys only wore t-shirts in an airconditioned supermarket. They freaking cooled it down to 3°C and still were fine.

Ya know, when I see these old videos of Diana...I can still hear the bulletin on my car radio as I was parking my car in the Wal Mart parking lot that early evening when her death was announced. I sat frozen in the seat like someone had just told me a member of my family had been killed. I didn't go in the store . I went home to turn on my TV, got in bed, and cried like a baby...wept until I fell asleep two hours later. I still can't get over the fact she is no longer among us in all her beauty, and that beautiful hair Diana possessed. No wonder Harry had to see a shrink...So very sad for those two kids had to live through all the drama and sadness. 22 years she's gone now. I miss her so much. I think she got a raw deal from the Royal household.

To be fair: there is a age old protocol that is being followed - monarch first, then next in line, then next after that, etc. Like all military establishments worldwide, rank has it's privileges and it's responsibilities. Also, the other royals have been to countless "meet and greets" all their lives and probably were a bit jaded (but still fulfilling their duty because they know how happy it makes people). To Diana, it was still fresh and new, so easier to be genuinely enthusiastic. Before I get jumped on; I agree that the royals could have been more sensitive to Diana's difficulties, and not excusing Charles relationship with Camilla. However, I don't believe that all their (the royal family) actions were always hostile to Diana.

Over the years members of my family have met the royals and each of us found them very easy to talk to. They were well informed and interested in what was going on and in what was said to them. I really liked Prince Philip. Years ago a friend of mine was introduced to Princess Diana and had to escort her around at an event. He said he’d been very nervous but she’d helped him relax and enjoy the experience.
