First he produced her Butterfly album, but they had to call in a professional to re-do everything he messed up. He produced "A Star Is Born", but mostly created chaos and conflict with everyone else involved. And he was, by and large, a truly rotten influence on Streisand's choices. Before Peters she had a run of good to excellent films that, even where they weren't perfect, demonstrated her versatility. In the Peters years she did junk like The Main Even and All Night Long (mostly for the money) or just didn't work. More recently he attempted to write a book that promised to peddle various tawdry stories about Streisand's past, but she managed to shut him down.
