What stops it lifting?

We used 2 bags of kiln dry sand in this install to weight the grass down, also a dozen or so 5 inch nails around the edges. An alternative method, which we use on the vast majority of our installs is to install a framework- the grass is then fixed with narrow crown staples. Both methods work well. The infill method is much quicker so we tend to use when the customer has a tight budget.
