Funny how no one talks about him any more since the 'nerf' of MAX HP. I would love to see more guides on OG champions. Someone who pulled a RG now would have to look at two year old videos for build guides.

One of my biggest gripes I think. I mean I've been around quite a while so I've seen most of them back then or just how to build in general but a lot of the OG champs have changed in how they're used now.

@@NubRaids Psylar, Tayrel, Mausoleum Mage, Doompriest, Zargala, Kaiden, Seeker, Faceless, Allure, Sinesha, Gorgorab, Melga, Stag Knight, Sandlashed, Fenax are all the staple epics of the mid game. All of them came out a while ago and you would struggle to find up-to-date guides in the last 12 months (or longer) that show their utility in Doom Tower, Hydra, and Dungeons 21-25. The guides tended to be made for these when they came out and not refreshed since. The Forge and Doom Tower have given us new gear sets that allow these champs to be built in better and different ways than those covered in videos from 2020 and early 2021. The issue I think is that content creators all have end game accounts stacked with OP Legendaries and have moved beyond these champs. They are focusing on all the new shiny releases. But you have to remember that not everyone started the game 2-3 years ago. New people are coming along and starting accounts all the time, pulling these great epics and they have nothing to go by in terms of building/using them except old videos and Ayumilove which seems not updated any more. Rather than making content on Opardin Clanfather or Bivald of the Thorn or these other leggos that you aren't going to get and aren't worth books, it would be better to see videos like this one that give you ideas on how to build a Royal Guard and use him in all the latest content. I have been thinking of starting my own YT channel based on this idea however I am more than happy to donate the idea to you as I enjoy your channel and your fresh perspective.

i've just pulled RG after 18months or so in the game, I just thought yeh not bad will I use him though. My Mino times aren't that great, but I tend to keep 5 champs rotating that all need masteries

I got my first RG after over 2yrs and he's now in my FK25 speed team. (Sub 2mins team with lydia, Alure, seer and renegade)

RG A2 does actually scale with ATK as well so it’s not terrible to throw some extra ATK on him for it. Only MAX HP champ that does it, I think. 2*ATK+0.1*EnemyHP

I have 3 Royal guards but only find myself using only one, is there a benefit of building three??

1key 3 difficulties of hydra, some hydra teams use 2 royal guards at once, 1-2 for speed run lv20 dungeon + 1-2 for hydra. ill be building my third one soon so I can use 1 for for fire knight 25 and 2 for hydra. i wouldn't recommend building them all immediately, just keep them around in case you change your mind later game.

2 is nice for level 20 dungeons. More than that is for brutal/nightmare hydra 👌

is RG even better than Aleksandr? on my twink-Acc I have RG and 2 Geomancers - but my main-Acc has more and better champs and gear, i.e. Crypt King Graal, because of Your Corrupted ALLIANCE Spider Tournament video 2 weeks ago I now farm Spider 20 - and even 22 on under 1 minute - never had this ever before thx 4 Your great content - and thy for Your very nice personality and calm presentation
