It is always so nice to see your family enjoying a Princess cruise. My husband and I love Princess. We are on the Sky Princess in 43 days!!!!! We have sailed on Carnival, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean and always enjoy each cruise but we do always come back to Princess. Thank you for your great content.

We took royal last year when it first came to the west coast. We had an excellent time. We are booked again this year. It’s so Nice to take a cruise and be able to drive to port.

Funny my husband was cheering Junior on when he was doing the “tree jumps”. Was that a spider at the beginning? Shudder...enjoyed seeing Mr. CTTV and Junior frolicking. Looks like a load of fun! Las Caletas reminded me of Blue Lagoon in the Bahamas which was also only a boat ride away, but the tropical and lush landscape of Las Celatas looks so beautiful!

We were on this cruise with you and got the chance to visit with your family briefly during the "welcome taco" part of the day! (What a great way to be welcomed!) One of the activities we did that was SO fun was the cooking class. We watched the chef make seafood paella (which they served at the lunch buffet) and split into groups to make salsa, guac, and pico on a patio overlooking the beach. Then they finished the class with the most amazing raspberry daiquiris. Las Caletas was awesome, and the boat ride there and back was highly entertaining. Definitely recommend this excursion if visiting Puerto Vallarta, and it was so fun to see you in real life!

We really like the laid back atmosphere of Princess as well as the great service! I am really enjoying catching up on your vlogs while we wait for cruising to resume. Excellent video! You really made us want to go there. It was awesome. I saw your son was with you. We have a 13yr old & 9 yr old. They are a little more mature than average. Would they like this cruise? I know we would. I know they would love that excursion. My husband & I did Carnival once & then the rest Disney cruises. We are all ready to try a different cruise line. I think they would Christy- the youth centers are exceptional on this ship, and the sports court is fun for all ages. There is a lot to do for kids on this ship for sure.

Thanks so much Kathy! They have a room service set up outside, but they do bring the food fresh, prepared to taste, so it's a lot like if you were dining in the main restaurants!

Hi Sheri, we’re excited for our Christmas Cruise to the Mexican Riviera on Dec 2024. I saw this video and fell in love with Las Caletas! I’ve been doing research and am still confused as to booking the excursion. 1- it’s not offered through my cruise line. 2-I contacted Vallarta Adventures but did not get a clear response. We’re docking at Puerto Vallarta at 8:00 am and the Vallarta Adventures offer an 8:30 time slot (not sure if that’s port time?). Also they have a Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta option?! Any info would greatly be appreciated.

Usually, Vallarta adventures will NOT allow you to book this direct with them, so i'd keep watching to see if i tpops up on your cruise excursions list!

We did a similar tour when in Puerto Vallarta with the same group, my wife was in agreement when you mentioned the free flowing drinks on the way back. As they came around with the pitcher of drinks she would say, fill her up, it’s not like I have to drive any where.

We are going on our first princess cruise in a little over 2 weeks! We are going on the regal princess for our 20th anniversary! Any tips? Or splurges? We have a deluxe balcony... I wanted to do the ultimate balcony dinner but I can’t figure out if our balcony is big enough! I guess I could wait until we get onboard. I bought the spa package as a surprise for my husband for the week. Anything else you would recommend?

Great question. MOST things there are included, and everything you saw us do was included. Upcharges include: massages/spa treatments, swim with stingrays.

All of that was included- extras were massages, sting ray swim, and I believe a sea lion encounter. I may have missed a few things!
