Should've bought Cody at around 15 , could've made it look a bit of struggle. Also , they made Gunther look like a massive star . I not gonna lie the royal rumble was missing those surprise entrants it is known for. Sure there were big names and champions in the rumble to sort of make up for that in the men's to some extent and also have booker t return and edge, as well as Michelle's entrance and Asukas new debut, but compared to last year's royal rumble there was way more surprises.

I honestly don't think it did miss the big surprises. However, I do think given that Cody was 30, I don't see why they announced it beforehand. Can't imagine that pop, if it was a surprise. They booked this whole thing very well.

I think i'd have to disagree (respectfully) on the Cody return. Whilst surprise returns are wonderful, most people had already assumed Cody was coming back at the rumble so I don't think the pop would have been any bigger than he got already. It was a better management this time to avoid a potential Daniel Bryan situation and shows the management learning from a past mistake. I like the logical thinking behind announcing Cody for the rumble ahead of time instead of trying to create a moment just because it's the rumble. Reah vs Bianca is the better story, would like Asuka to win in EC and go for Charlotte's title.

@@StevenBeverage best case scenario is Roman reigns defends the WWE championship against Cody Rhodes on night one and the universal championship against Sami Zayn on night 2!!! The biggest reason would be management has gotten fed up with the bloodline causing chaos on both shows and this becomes Roman reigns own consequences which is defending both belts at WrestleMania. The storylines make great sense and could lead to great outcomes for Sami and Cody .

The right match was main event, the biggest story in wrestling today, however I truly believe triple h put the women's rumble on later in the show just because he didn't want anymore backlash from the fans who don't think the women are used as much as the men, like how it was the women's match that was axed on raw 30, also I feel the cody win would of been made more special had it been a surprise and also I would of had him enter around 20-25 I feel the #30 spot should of been a surprise but that's just me

Sami, KO and Roman. Last three in elimination chamber, with a big controversial ending. Leading up to WM, Roman would be on 2 nights of WM. One against Sami(maybe with KO as triple threat) for one belt and another night with Cody for another belt. Roman beat Sami and gets to keep his streak. And loses the other belt to Cody. Everybody wins. Or even loses both belt, so Roman can take his vacation and come back as a super baby face.

I think the thing to do in Montreal is for Roman to be forced to defend both belts separately, so the elimination chamber will determine that number 1 contender. Sami winning that match would get such a massive pop. The only other option is doing yet another screwjob type angle where The Bloodline prevents Sami from winning to set up Sami/KO vs The Usos because the heat would be massive too.

I don't know where this Sami story is going anymore. I was convinced that Sami would turn on Roman during the match, allowing Kevin to win the titles. Then it would be much easier to separate the titles with Kevin than it is with Roman. Since that didn't happen, these are a few guesses: 1) Sami vs Roman at elimination chamber for both of the titles in some sort of 2 fall match, where he and Roman each level with 1 title. 2) Roman does double duty at wrestlwmania. One match with Cody and one with Roman for each title. 3) Roman apologizes to Sami for pushing his face and forcing Sami to do what he did. All is forgiven for now and then they turn on Sami again sometime before or during wrestlemania. None of those are great options. They are in a weird position and have to be creative right now because Roman will be involved in multiple simultaneous feuds that will all need an end.

Spoiler; 4) Sami vs Roman at EC in which Sami gets beat clean or Jey interferes setting up Sami vs the Usos, likely with KO.
