I was in the audience, and in those days went each year. Hard to say what the greatest performances of all were - but this one is right up there. Of course, we absolutely knew it was too good to last. But the Mozart was thrilling, moving, spectacular, witty. Nothing quite like it, really...

Some these cavalry regiments bands are no longer in the British army

Such a shame that are government got rid of all these regiments and ruined are army.
