Each time a song is solved, the community learns new things and starts knowing where to look for things. The first "big" find for lost songs was On The Roof - Johann Lindell which was the big mysterious lost song back in 2013. It was first posted in 2002 and people didn't find the full song until 2013 despite actively searching and a lot of that was simply because there wasn't an established community that could guide a search. EKT was found within 2 and a half years. Now people know to do things like search copyright databases, contact radio stations that played a ton of demos, and how to tell if a track was recorded on TV, radio, etc.
