But... there IS a badass riff in the background all the time - you just don't need a guitar for it, it's great on piano ;) It's very stirring, it builds tension in a masterful way making the whole song disquieting, yet in an intriguing way.

Its the line cliche (music term where the root or the 5th of a chord is moving in steps (root semitone down, 5th semitone up) while the rest of the chord stays as is) The bond theme is a line cliche hence why it reminds you of it, pretty cool concept.
