I hope the Thruxton R will be the winner of the poll. The new Bonneville is a cool bike but my father used to have the old original Bonneville with only a kickstarter which was just mad, the new one is too dull in my opinion.

Stopping in front of a policestation doesn't work. Ride magazine did a feature once where they loaded a locked bike in a van. No one in the station noticed.

Same here when it comes to scooters in the mirror - you feel judgemental after but it feels better safe than sorry. A couple of late turn offs (as long as it's safe to do so) usually put the mind at ease.

Wilco Muurling I seem to recall on his website in the FAQs he mentions that he records external sound using a separate mic in his pocket, which would pick up the exhaust and other external sounds very well.

that makes sense... the gopro is known for its horrendous MIC sound quality...

Wilco Muurling Yep, I agree. I use a Contour camera (original version) as my main helmet cam and the sound on that is a joke really. Even on top volume you can barely hear anything. Good camera (for its price) but the sound is bad. Appears that if you want good sound with these cameras you need an external mic.

Coldfin9er okay ty. In germany 50 cc scooters which you can drive at the age of 15 are allowed to drive 25 Km/H (15,5 mph) and with 16 you´re allowed to drive 45 kmh (28 mph). If you want to drive faster, it cost hundrets of €. Because the "TÜV" (german car service bla bla) has to register it as a motorcycle.

Dies das Ananas From the age of 16 it's 50cc scooters only with a top speed of 45KMH under category AM licence, from 17 - 19 it's scooters / bikes up to 125cc limited to 11KW in power under the A1 licence, from 19 you step up to bikes restricted to 35KW (but the same bike de-restricted can't achieve twice this power to qualify) under A2 and from 24 you can get on a full power / any bike under A licence. You have to do certain tests to pass each licence at every stage. 125's and under are not allowed on motorways (autobahn's).
