I have same problem on my 2018 model bs4 classic 500 stealth black and I claimed extended warranty and they replaced me a new fuel tank and some other problem creeps in air pressure on tank 😳 if i open the tank cap it opens with pressurised air like a bang sound 😳 so i drilled a hole through the tank cap and it's all fine now ☺️ and hey after that your fuel pump and fuel injector gonna give you problem and the engine malfunction light gonna continuously on 🤦🏻 Royal enfield authorised service centre not gonna give you solution they will tell you to replace the whole efi and fuel pump system that gonna cost you around 32000 rupees 😳 so what I did ? replaced efi to carburettor with the help of local royal enfield mechanic ( well experienced one ) ☺️ it will cost you around 15000 rupees ! now my bike have a smooth engine with smooth riding without and vibrations and with smooth thump sound ☺️ ♥️

I have the same problem with my 2019 BS4 model, initial stage it was leaking from the tank and they did some patchwork below the tank now the leakage problem is solved later air is getting tight in the tank and started missing as well during running for this they have changed the key socket and the air problem is solved but the tank is vibrating while accelerating and they suggested to change the tank 😐. Problems are coming one after one.

Hi bro, for me also RE asked to pay 10k for changing the tank. Thankfully one mechanic removed a pipe which is connecting from Tank cap side to bottom of the petrol tank which will be inside. After removing he has closed the hole on the bootom which he removed and made one small drill on my tank cap to release air from petrol tank. Now my bike is not giving those issues. It’s been almost 2 years now

There is a pipe which connect to canister from the tank. which is missing in your bike. Don’t over fill the tank in BS4 model and get new pipe tank is good in ur bike

If it's a manufacturing problem then get it replaced. Even without warranty. If nothing works go to Shivajinagar get a petrol tank for less.. BS3 vehicles are best.

They made hole on the tank key area and removed pipe which is going inside the petrol tank and closed the other end with velding.

@@vigneshvt2160 goodwill usually gets approved/rejected by main office, if we do services/complaints/repairs from authorised service centers they usually initiate the claim nd we had lockdown close to an year. better to get confirmation with service center, they will surely help you out.

Hi Joseph, thank you for the prompt response. I have contacted RE showroom in Kanchipuram one week back where I have bought my machine, bt they told this can't cover under 'warranty/goodwill' and don't get any proper response from them. Their intention is all about money. then I have escalated to RE customer care and mentioned my issue clearly and got the complainant reference number and got the call back from their representative from Bengaluru. All things going good now. Kanchipuram showroom called and asked me to bring my machine to check and they have taken the video of fuel leakage and it was approved four days back. Today I have replaced the new fuel tank of my machine. Thanks a lot..... :)

Bro. I had the same problem. Idhe leak achu. I went to 4-5 service center and everyone suggested to change the tank. Then a local service center suggested the same solution. But instead of welding he just attached a ball in the hole. Tuk just 1 min to do it. And cut the pipe to charcoal canister. It's been more than a year and it's running smoothly.
