There Was A Few Bad Calls On The Ump MLB Needs To Make Changes On Throwing Out Players I Can Understand Managers Being Tossed But There Should Be A Camera Review On Strikes And Have A Special Ump With The Announcers And That Ump Can Call Down To The Umps From Below And Tell Them It Was Either A Strike Or Ball And The Call Has To Be Changed

You can pay to watch a game and the ump is allowed to eject the fans too. Too much authority given to the umps. Which only should be applied to umps that don’t like to power trip.

I mean how much money is transactioning per any professional game? Lots. You'd think that would be important instead of having this BS "Good 'ol boys club" that the umpire's union is deciding winners and losers on their whim. How many of them gamble on sports? I wonder.

As much as I miss 2023 Chas, the right move was made to option him, and Heyward/Gamel have been coming through for us right out the gate. I’m loving those pickups. Starting pitching for us has been *elite* the past month. Let’s keep it going and win this series!!

damn i love the astros, this season looks like it could be shaping up to be something special. from the injuries and the horrible start early on, to now finding talent wherever they seem to look and playing at a blistering pace it just feels like they got something cooking. october should be a fun month for Houston!

The umps have too much power and have zero competition for their jobs. It's a bad combination of circumstances that give us this trash calling the games. It'd be nice if they disbanded the umpires union and actually let them compete for their jobs. I would bet a mint that you wouldn't see so many bad calls. I mean I don't see it this bad in the minors. It's the same sport. Same rules. Different conditions for employment.

I know this has been said a thousand times over, but blues need some kind of consequence or repercussion for throwing players for barely doing anything. Bregman muttered one sentence and was thrown for it.

I agree 100 percent however, nothing will get done until they start losing money and have to do something about it. In other words, fans not buying tickets, merch, cable packages that include sports channels, etc. Which probably won't happen. Most people seem to be happy paying $20+ parking $200 for tickets and probably $50+ for food/drinks just to watch a baseball game and not sit in the nose bleed sections. Personally, I don't mind watching the recap on KZbin for free or if it's a playoff game, maybe hang out at a sports bar and watch on the big screens there.

The strike zone box is not the umpire's friend. I'm surprised their union hasn't demanded it be removed. It makes almost all the umps look really bad for good reason. Geez, I've never seen so many bad calls as this whole season.

So the umpire not calling strikes throws out the 3rd baseman who could have stopped that short hop and quick throw. Causing uncertainty in the game. Seem scripted breakman has a good eye and swing he doesn’t swing at what isn’t a strike. Know your batters eye and take some consideration if you have a 180 hitter toss em but if their average is 250 plus take some salt with the conversion.
