Rodon's biggest fault is that he gets pressured very quickly, although he pitched very well in the first three innings, he got caught up in pressure from a home run, the result of which you can all see.

I am suddenly a lot more optimistic about the Royals advancing. Yankees are hitting 3-19 with RISP and are going to a pitcher friendly ballpark in the K that heavily favors small ball, a concept the Yankees don't want to try as they seem content to swing for the fences. Judge is just barely above the Mendoza line for his playoff career and Lugo is starting G3. Not gonna call it yet, but I think if we can take Game 3, we close it out in 4.

The Yankees could easily be down 0-2 in this series, they were fortunate to win game 1 with some lucky calls by the umpire. If the Yankees can't get to the World Series this year it might never happen again, espcially with Houston and Baltimore out, and Yankees dominating the central, this postseason is like a golden path to the big dance, if not the manager and the GM mightbe gone!!

I'm a Yankees fan, I love my Yankees and Jazz. But In the game 1, Jazz was clearly out. The Yankees won but I was not happy because that call was unfair and I was sorry for the Royals fans. So In this game 2, The Yankees' defeat is fair enough. I love fairplay. And sports must be fair. The game 1 was great but the replay crew just messed it up. I hope the umpires and replay crew work well next time. Now the series is tied. Let's make fairplay!

The pleasure of watching these kinds of highlights is getting a shortened version of the game when you haven’t seen it and don’t know what happened. So why have the announcers describe the play right before we get to see it, thereby ruining the surprise???? 85% of this serves the purpose well, but that other 15% is important to those of us who look to these highlight / recaps for a great alternative to watching the game live.

The knockout blow was Perez’ home run. It only tied the game, but Rodón knew it was over and so did his teammates. Is it possible that a team with one third the Yankees payroll is going to best them? Yes. Very possible. The Royals have the speed and pitching to drop the Yankees like Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) did Sonny Liston.
