Chicken skin means that you have goose bumps. It is compared to a chickens skin after it has been plucked.

Shishi is not hawaiian; it's hawaiian slang. Hawaiian is, like, an actual language.
@VariousIndulgences9 жыл бұрын
So it's colloquialism used in Hawaii, a languages slang is still part of the language. Many words are unofficial and seen as slang at one point but are then added to dictionaries. So slang is still part of language and can be argued to be one of the most important parts.
@XxObsessedXjpop9 жыл бұрын
+Mani N Actually what I think +MoFanz is trying to explain is that "shishi" is pidgin which is often described as a Hawaiian slang but it is a different language all together. Pidgin originates from the sugar plantation days in Hawaii where many different cultures worked together and formed this new slang. So it is not the Hawaiian language but more like a language of Hawaii.
@MoFanz9 жыл бұрын
kagoshima007 Yes, thank you. I was trying to type out an answer but my computer died, so what I was going to say was that the Hawaiian language is revered in a way that other languages aren't, and it's not subject to the same changes and rules, and beside that, they don't even have the "sh" sound.
