Guys, I’m so sorry I somehow forgot the soap mold footage in this video!! I don’t know how on earth that happened, I swear I check everything 45 times and 3 people watched this video without it being caught!! The soap mold and everything else really is listed in the PDF with a link. If you use the PDF as a checklist and check EVERYTHING off, you will have what you need! The mold we are using is around $12 on Amazon and it shown in the prep video, something you would have to watch before making your first batch! 💗 UPDATE : If you are not in the United States, for the love of all things holy, do NOT buy these micas and fragrance oils if it costs you an arm and a leg! Remember, one of the main points is the be cost efficient!! Google "soap colorants" or "soap supplies" for your country and purchase from someone local!!!

To Katie and all the Royalty Soap family: you are amazing human beings! Thanks so much for such an effort on educating all of us! I live in Brazil and it's been very difficult for me to find micas, fragrance oils etc, besides the language barrier, the ingredients here are very expensive (coconut and olive oil, for example) and the business for it is almost inexistent (the major focus on homemade soap here is melt and pour), I rarely see people selling cp soap, and when I find it, it's focusing on the "all natural ingredients" etc. I've made a promise to myself that in 2020 I would do my first cp soap, and after this series I'll definitely start buying the supplies I can find here and try to make!

SO GLAD I checked out Mad Micas after seeing all the colors you have. I'm a resin artist and I'm trying to switch to eco-friendly resin, inclusions, and resin tint, and I've used mica powder as a resin colorant before but then I learned how some of the ways mica is mined is unethical and dangerous... and then, poof, I find this adorable soapmaker who hands me an ethical, vegan mica producer for a fair price. I'm eternally grateful :)

This is a weird little tip but if you don't want to buy something to cover your hair, you can use a plastic grocery bag! It's a little funny looking, but it works surprisingly well. Just put it around your hair, tie the handles to tighten it, and (optional) tuck them in! I suppose you could use a big scarf to put your hair back too, since it doesn't have to be waterproof! Whatever works! :)

My husband just looked at me all worried and asked if I planned to take up soap making. Me: Why, you think I’d be bad at it? Him: No, you’d be great, but we’d have so much soap and we don’t need it.

Dear Duchess and the entire Royal family- I will make a deal with you-I’ll learn to make soap IF you reproduce the Lisa Frank soap in bulk and in turn I’ll buy 10 of them and then learn to make soap. I hope you find my terms acceptable. -Q

But if you learn to make soap you could make your own Lisa Frank soap and have as much as you wanted 🤩

GIRL!!!!!Your personality made me watch this video, even if you were talking about a blank sheet of paper , I would have watched to the end. Your energy and vibe is contagious , just all round feel good. Thank you for being a positive in the soap world, for those who are newbies, and love , love , love your options for recycling and making a difference in saving the planet. If you ever wonder how far your videos reach, I'm from a tiny island in the Caribbean.

This is making me CRY! I had a large budget and made my own recipe, waiting for my oils and micas. Tmrrw I get to go and physically smell my first fragrances for all of this!!! ( I know, I know, I’m lucky! I have a candle supply co. down the street). So, I formulated everything, water discounted, lye calculated and am just waiting on all my stuffs!! I’m soooo excited!! Katie: You are such an extraordinary human being. Finding you has been a blessing more than you'll ever know. I have manic depression and it gets so uncontrollable bad sometimes. I have a system that helps sometimes but it's so mindfully debilitating. My manic gets away from me before I can even realise and I'll just be sitting there listening to myself and just can't stop. On bad days I know that I can come find you and watch a video or 2 ...or more usually... and things seem better. I find myself laughing and actually feeling happy. You have me rolling my butt off sometimes. Giggle laughs like you do with friends. I joke around with my family that I have my friends in the tv...i know sounds like Im a weirdo...I'm really not. Some days I come home and knowing you'll be there or some of the other KZbinrs I follow will have uploaded...and it's just a comfort. You bring so much joy to this world and my world is a brighter place because you've chosen to share YOU and your amazing talent. It's also got me back into making my clothing I used to do. My depression told me I couldn't do it...and I stopped for years....watching you made me want to create again...which in turn has made life a little less stressful. Thank you for being you....and thank you for being my friend...lol.

You are so amazing. Not many people would share their knowledge on their craft, for fear of competition. It won't happen, obvi, you guys will always make superior soap, but I think that's really sweet.
