Guys, I’m so sorry I somehow forgot the soap mold footage in this video!! I don’t know how on earth that happened, I swear I check everything 45 times and 3 people watched this video without it being caught!! The soap mold and everything else really is listed in the PDF with a link. If you use the PDF as a checklist and check EVERYTHING off, you will have what you need! The mold we are using is around $12 on Amazon and it shown in the prep video, something you would have to watch before making your first batch! 💗 UPDATE : If you are not in the United States, for the love of all things holy, do NOT buy these micas and fragrance oils if it costs you an arm and a leg! Remember, one of the main points is the be cost efficient!! Google "soap colorants" or "soap supplies" for your country and purchase from someone local!!!

Katie, at risk of sounding creepy, I love you so much! I’ve always wanted to get into cold-process soap making, and this is so perfect for me. Your channel has already taught me a lot about CP, but this will be perfect! I still have to wait until I’m living in a different house, right now I don’t have enough space anywhere where I’d be able to keep my pets safely locked out, unless I locked them in the bathroom the entire time I was soapmaking, but that’s mean and I wouldn’t do that to them aha

I have wanted to make soap for almost 7 years now and have always felt so overwhelmed with figuring it out on my own. I am a mom of 4 and work a full time and a part time job. My dream is to be able to do something I genuinely love, that is a creative outlet for me, and allows me to spend more time with my kids (and have mental and physical energy left for them). You make me feel like maybe I can do this. You are absolute goals and your love of your craft and desire to share it with everyone for free so selflessly is an inspiration and since I've found you, I am truly determined to at least try to make my dreams come true. Thank you for existing, Katie Carson.

To Katie and all the Royalty Soap family: you are amazing human beings! Thanks so much for such an effort on educating all of us! I live in Brazil and it's been very difficult for me to find micas, fragrance oils etc, besides the language barrier, the ingredients here are very expensive (coconut and olive oil, for example) and the business for it is almost inexistent (the major focus on homemade soap here is melt and pour), I rarely see people selling cp soap, and when I find it, it's focusing on the "all natural ingredients" etc. I've made a promise to myself that in 2020 I would do my first cp soap, and after this series I'll definitely start buying the supplies I can find here and try to make!

Awesome series . I probably watched over 100 soap making videos and purchased and read books etc before I made my first batch of soap. Everything I purchased was from the thrift store (my wand mixer, bowls etc) and the dollare tree!! Buckets, bowls, spatulas cutting mats etc. And walmart for my coconut oil and olive oil. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supplying us with quality education and stressing safety measures. As the mother of an autistic teen girl who is very artistic but needs outlets other than drawing, you have helped to provide her with a hope that she will be able to make butters, scrubs and especially soaps to help support herself in the future. We lost my husband on June 11, 2022 and it hit pretty hard that we will need to look to our futures and become very proactive in an endeavor, especially for her sake. Bless you for helping the beginners and probably instilling a confidence that we certainly didn’t have before watching these videos that you have generously provided. Sign us, Two New Fans!

I am not a soap maker, but I love watching these videos just to chill because I'm just someone who likes watching something come together all perfect, and I'm honestly... SO GLAD I checked out Mad Micas after seeing all the colors you have. I'm a resin artist and I'm trying to switch to eco-friendly resin, inclusions, and resin tint, and I've used mica powder as a resin colorant before but then I learned how some of the ways mica is mined is unethical and dangerous... and then, poof, I find this adorable soapmaker who hands me an ethical, vegan mica producer for a fair price. I'm eternally grateful :)

You are teaching us how to make your wonderful soaps. Im taking that as a sign to start somthing new. Thank you for everything .🌿

This is a weird little tip but if you don't want to buy something to cover your hair, you can use a plastic grocery bag! It's a little funny looking, but it works surprisingly well. Just put it around your hair, tie the handles to tighten it, and (optional) tuck them in! I suppose you could use a big scarf to put your hair back too, since it doesn't have to be waterproof! Whatever works! :)

Hi I'm casey,I'm 15 and really really excited to start my soap journey and my dad is still worried about the sodium hydroxide but I am very excited (especially the decorating part because I used to bake for my grans business, I used to do the decorations) and then I did slime but I didn't really enjoy it that much because you couldn't really do that much but with soap there is soooo many different ways of doing it and decorating

Katie, you are an amazing woman! You Have truly been blessed with the support team that you have behind you and in turn, you take that and give to all of the people out there listening to you! Truly amazing dear. I have been doing only MP soap because I am on disability income and felt that was all that I could afford to do. But You have motivated me to step out and do cold processing. It may take a while for me to acquire the supplies But I am so excited!! Thankfully I won't have too much to have to get since I've already got soaping supplies! God Bless you and I am honored to call you Student/Friend! So Excited!! 😎😎😎

My husband just looked at me all worried and asked if I planned to take up soap making. Me: Why, you think I’d be bad at it? Him: No, you’d be great, but we’d have so much soap and we don’t need it.

Dear Duchess and the entire Royal family- I will make a deal with you-I’ll learn to make soap IF you reproduce the Lisa Frank soap in bulk and in turn I’ll buy 10 of them and then learn to make soap. I hope you find my terms acceptable. -Q

GIRL!!!!!Your personality made me watch this video, even if you were talking about a blank sheet of paper , I would have watched to the end. Your energy and vibe is contagious , just all round feel good. Thank you for being a positive in the soap world, for those who are newbies, and love , love , love your options for recycling and making a difference in saving the planet. If you ever wonder how far your videos reach, I'm from a tiny island in the Caribbean.

Katie: You are such an extraordinary human being. Finding you has been a blessing more than you'll ever know. I have manic depression and it gets so uncontrollable bad sometimes. I have a system that helps sometimes but it's so mindfully debilitating. My manic gets away from me before I can even realise and I'll just be sitting there listening to myself and just can't stop. On bad days I know that I can come find you and watch a video or 2 ...or more usually... and things seem better. I find myself laughing and actually feeling happy. You have me rolling my butt off sometimes. Giggle laughs like you do with friends. I joke around with my family that I have my friends in the tv...i know sounds like Im a weirdo...I'm really not. Some days I come home and knowing you'll be there or some of the other KZbinrs I follow will have uploaded...and it's just a comfort. You bring so much joy to this world and my world is a brighter place because you've chosen to share YOU and your amazing talent. It's also got me back into making my clothing I used to do. My depression told me I couldn't do it...and I stopped for years....watching you made me want to create again...which in turn has made life a little less stressful. Thank you for being you....and thank you for being my friend...lol.
