I'm not sure where else to leave a message for you that you may get it... I think I may have you followed on all your sites... oh I hope that didn't sound stalkerish hahaha... but I was enjoying some of your older videos like the presents and parcels and I was wondering do you still get wonderful presents from people? I was really enjoying some of the older videos with your mom! She's an enjoyable woman and I see where you get your wonderful zest for life! I love seeing how far you've come and just how truly talented you are! You're inspiring and uplifting! Every time I watch a video I want to just jump in and make some soap or get crafty lol! I'm hoping I can FINALLY get a bar of your gorgeous soaps this release date!! I wanted to take the time to thank you for sharing your journey, your tips, your failures, your life, your sisters progress, your lovely baby girl.... just everything with us! You are truly remarkable! I hope you continue to keep making videos! My seven year old daughter and I just love to watch you!

Eighty-five days into the "Time of the Great Stay-At-Home" (so years after this video, and many, many years after you started) I found your "Soap Maker Reacts to Viral Soap Hacks" video, and immediately subscribed and followed you. I'm on day 4 of binge watching all your videos, and this one struck an cord, especially the parts about being open and sharing and the rewards that you've seen from that. I am a very-much hobbyist with melt-and-pour soap (90% of what I make are soaps with toys in them to get my son and his friends to wash their hands), but your constant stream of advice, recommendations and "insider secrets" have inspired me to branch out a little more with my soap creations. I will still leave cold process to the experts, but you have also given me so many experts to support! Love your creativity, your positivity, and glad that you are a force for good in the soap making community!

My hubby proposed quietly too. We had been dating for 3 years and we were slow dancing at his senior prom. He leaned in and whispered in my ear "I know that I don't have a lot, and I don't have a ring, but I love you... Merry me." We've been married 13 years now ❤ quiet is better!

I agree with your "generous" tip!! Sharing comes back as blessings. There was such a dust up over mermaid scales, if you can imagine, last week. All about not sharing and protectionism. Also, love Anne of Green Gables, my daughter's fav. We went to Prince Edward Island and saw it all and a live play. Fabulous!

I just wanna say that I love your perspective on marriage and proposals. I have that same view (and so does my boyfriend of almost 4 years) and sometimes I feel overwhelmed by family’s and society’s pressures to have a big, grand, show-offy wedding full of expensive things and obnoxious traditions. If we get married we hope to have something much simpler than expected of us so that it better reflects us as a couple and makes us, rather than our relatives, happiest. It makes me so happy to know such a wonderful woman, someone I admire, shares some of my views, and it makes me feel a little less alone. Thank you

The Afghan for Lilly took several weeks to make, and with 4 kids of my own... always takes a little longer. But knowing you enjoyed the gift and you were appreciative of the craft, so worth it. Paying it forward is something everyone should try. It truly makes you feel so good. I think you are such a kind hearted person and I hope you rub off on the soaping community! Hey I like your answer for how you started sharing and giving more concerning your soap making recipes, ingredients, and etc. I think that's awesome! A lot of people want to be taught and honestly it helps the soap making community get more publicity and helps it live on. Since my sister began getting into organic products it led me to wonder what was in soaps and etc and that's how I stumbled upon artisan soaps and better body wash products. Thank you for sharing your designs and methods! It's appreciated. Honestly I could try to copy off your style but I think I will rather learn from it because I don't have the same skill set as you but you also help people have new ideas through your sharing. You are unique and set apart because your soaps are fun, bright, and well designed! Anyways thank you and take care!

I have kind of been in a rut creatively and looking for an outlet and I am throughly convinced that soap making is just the thing I need! Thank you so much for all the time, effort and energy you put into your craft and your videos. You are incredibly inspiring!

First let me say your soaps are amazing to match your personality I watch every one of them over and over and have learned a lot as a new soaper my journey began 6 months ago at 73 and although I have quilted for numerous years and done stained glass I was quite intimidated by this process but surprisingly your video was the first one I watched and I was hooked LOL I am so grateful for you sharing so much including your recipe but also your family and your sharing so much regarding techniques and helpful information as a mother of six and grandmother to 14 I know your family must beam at what a beautiful woman you are inside and out and it speaks to your successes and many more to come I pray. So many soapers choose not to share anything and I try to understand but in the crafts that I have enjoyed sharing was part of the joy of doing it and I am so thankful to have found you or I may not be enjoying trying to create soap I only hope that I can reach some degree of beauty like you create bless you and your family

The Facebook soap community can be a great place to learn from. There are some amazing and helpful people there. Unfortunately there are also some awful people there. I got tired of the negativity and don't go in as often. You, yellow cottage and spicy pinecone and others have been wonderfully successful and some people like to make mean comments. Not cool. I have learned so much from watching you guys. I use your recipe, and love it. I have tried others but like yours better. My soap looks nothing like yours because I am an artist. I have no desire to have my soap look like anyone else. Thank you for all that you do!

Thanks for another great video! You are one of the people who inspired me to add soap into my range of products and I am so happy I did. I am in Australia and was sad to hear it was an Australian who put you down but I am so pleased you ignored them and followed your instinct. I was a member of a few Aust. FB groups, but a few months ago, I pulled out of them as I felt they were pulling me back. I feel so much better for doing so and have been able to grow further. Knowing how much you have grown, it gives me hope that I have done the right thing. I can't thank you enough for your inspiration!

You are amazing, I’ve recently joined the soaping community of Facebook, and I’m not impressed with what I see. I’ve seen people who have made things probably inspired by you, who then turn around and say, I’m going to be trademarking this blah blah blah. Who cares if people copy your recipes???? As long as credit is given. I think it would be fine in my mind. More soap makers should heed your business plan 😊 you are a true kind spirit and I’m so glad I found your channel. I cannot wait to start soaping!!!! You’ve inspired me

I think it really depends on what type of introvert you are. Some introverts really don't like to go out, and some do. There are a lot of famous people who are introverts. I think the biggest thing is giving yourself time to rest. I know for myself, going out and being sociable and doing things like marketing and advocating make me tired and drain my energy. So I need time to rest up afterwards.

Hi, Katie! I just wanted to say thank you! I've watched your videos for ohhhh maybe five months, and largely because of you and your fabulous work, I started making my own soaps a few months ago! I just got some micas and fragrance oils and have started doing more lately, and I've even made some sales already! Thanks for your bright smile and your kind words of encouragement, and your lovely videos that make such a fun, fantastic craft seem accessible enough for a newbie to give it a shot. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hi Katie, I love your channel and your creative, inspiring designs! I giggled a little at your marketing comments in this video. Even if you don't see yourself as a marketing expert, you so are!! You have done an amazing job marketing yourself, which in turn makes people want to invest in you by purchasing your products! I am also a soap maker and you make me want to buy your soaps. I love what your doing!

Hi Katie! I just wanted to say that you are freakin' awesome! I came across your videos by chance while looking for inspiration, you my friend are one of the best out there in my humble opinion. Your're very down to earth, you give great honest advice and your very helpful to those of us that are looking for any thing we can get. I also think Royal Apple Berry is awesome! I finally started making soap! It's the best feeling in the world when you unmold the soap and cut it to see what you created! AHHHH.... SO EXCITING!! sorry, just wanted to say THANK YOU!

“A marriage is between two people, it’s not between you and your mom and your dad and your friends” That’s so interesting to hear someone actually say that because I’m learning a bit about collectivist and individualist cultures and that is exactly what my teacher said the mindset of an individualist culture was, and (also living in America) I’m like “yeah, makes sense” but to hear someone say that exact thing out loud was interesting

Would you be interested in doing more soaps like the lilypad pond soap? I really like the way your current soaps look but I think it'd be really fun to see you try out some new stuff from time to time. That does in no way mean that I think your soaps are boring or anything (they are definitely not), I just love to see creators go outside of their comfort zone! :)
