Tbh as a top 5 kata ı think f exhaust is better unless its a must flash enemy team and in lol they usually max e first when they go ad but in wild rift thats not viable cuz ult does not goes up by attack speed so no damage at all and ı dont go for rift maker unless enemy has no tanks ı just go that (armor ap) item

As a support main when I see opponents picks Katarina I like to pick lulu. Her polymorph skill shuts her down so hard and is so simple to land.

Every time I see an enemy Katarina I know we are probably gonna win. Hopefully the buffs will help her. Still feel like she isn’t a champion worth to master. Has terrible matchups,easily countered by CC and only shines in the later stages of the game. Do yourself a favour and learn other champions if you aren’t gonna put in a lot of time into this champion

No hate, but you probably haven't seen a Katarina otp in high elo, she's definitely worth mastering. Maybe I'm biased because I'm a kat main myself, but yes the current meta doesn't favor her that much, because she needs to snowball (usually by roaming) early in the game to have an impact. If you know the fundamentals in playing the game, she's definitely stronger than you think she is.

⁠@@nigiiteI have seen a few good katarina players in higher elo. They usually have at least 500 or more games and still get bullied out of lane by me. As you said she needs to snowball. With proper wards and pings she needs to work extra hard just to pull off a roam,all while losing waves and tower plates. My point is not that she’s weak but rather that she requires a lot of things to line up in her favour. They have too much CC? you cant pick her. They have a tank heavy composition? You can’t pick her. I can go on but the idea is that if you are gonna master your fundamentals,there are many more suitable champions that can carry as hard while being a more well rounded champion

This is exactly why I hate Katarina mains. You said a few times that it’s 1v9 or that your team does nothing and it’s all you, out of your first ten kills at least 7 are kill steals which puts your teammates behind. Also if you didn’t have Soraka, that game would be way harder.
