Just a suggestion, but too anyone that hasn’t heard of Royce yet but want to check out his other stuff after you listen too the “ The Allegory “ go to. “Rock City” which his is debut album. N keep in mind that the album came out in 2000 then go to “Death is Certain “ which is a classic, it’s one of my favorite Royces album, it’s the album that turned me into a fan. then go to “Success is Certain” then “Street Hop” then“Layers” which his first album sober and at last “Book of Ryan” his discography is spotty at Best but I promise go by that list n you won’t be disappointed. He’s been one of my favorite for a long time. Super happy for in the space I see him in. He’s making the best music he’s ever made. Also check out his debut with Slaughterhouse ( the shady debut is terrible) he also has a bad meets evil with Em which is also cool. And the PRyme series with Dj premiere is super dope too
@brianstone37224 жыл бұрын
I can tell you're a real royce fan all those albums you named are 🔥 no doubt about it even that shady slaughterhouse album had a few bangers on it imo it's definitely mainstream but i wouldn't say the whole album is bad but i get your point about it.

Can't forgot the Bar Exam series. Mainly vol. 1 & 2. There's a best of the Bar Exam on Spotify but it's definitely not the best imo. Royce is at his best when teamed up with Preemo. Boom was what got him lit and the works with Preemo on Rock City and Street Hop are classic. Prhyme is next level genius to only sample 1 person for an album. Rocye was formerly known as the best kept secrect, I guess I just leaked it. BOOOM

brian mitchell Bar Exam 2 is my favorite mixtape from him, Bar Exam 1 has some gems in there as well, 3 was cool but I think he was too drunk to know what the hell was going on.another great mixtape is his M.I.C mixtape, those has some cool songs in there with his old crew. Him and Premo are a guaranteed classic a hits for sure, it’s a shame he never came up with anything great with Pharrell though. He really did have all the super producers at his door smh

K. Truell Ding! Is a classic, you get a chance KZbin “Heartbeat” it’s a Kanye produced track. Very dope song from him, his Destroy & Rebuild mixtape has a bunch of unreleased shit in there. Royce is the most well rounded hip-hop artist that's putting out music right now. He can keep up with lyrical powerhouses like Eminem, Black Thought, Crook, ect. on a technical level. He can match his cadence to that of street rappers like Griselda and Pusha T and not sound awkward or out of place (like Em did on that Conway joint). He just started making beats VERY recently and already produced an entire album that sounded like a veteran could have done it. Not to mention his content speaks on such a deep and personal level, he is an amazing story teller. Just the line "product of every single blood freckled Timberland" is a beautifully complex way of saying something so simple. The Allegory is the best hip-hop album since To Pimp A Butterfly in my opinion

I was really hoping he would elaborate on his claims that vaccines are the reason for autism. As someone on the spectrum I did my research and the only research I found back then was by a doctor in a completely unrelated field. He happened to threat a dozen of patients that had been vaccinated and also had autism. The studie was almost immediately retracted partly because his own staff distanced themselves from it and even went as far as putting in the request. Important reasons why his conclusion was false (or atleast not proven) were; - the group was way too small - the members of the group all had been vaccinated - the vaccination rate at that time was above 99% - he didn't look into unvaccinated kids having autism Countless other studies have either disproven this theory or were unable to even find evidence to support it. Furthermore a lot of people, that were born at a time where those vaccines weren't around, currently get diagnosed as being on the spectrum. My dad being one of those. I just hope that Royce realizes that autism, adhd etc. are gifts not curses. We might not always function perfectly in society's standards. Our brains are circuited different and most of us have a lot of problems with doing things the way it's expected. Mainly because we have a huge urge to see the logic in things instead of blindly accepting things as fact just because others say so. They drug us for a reason. Numbing our brains is the best option for those relying on sheeps to somewhat keep us in line

so he felt personally disrespected by yelawolf over something that he won't elaborate on and that somehow makes yelawolf racist? i'm gonna have to call bullshit. even if he disrespected him (which is called into question over the fact that he won't explain it), disrespecting one person isn't disrespecting their entire race. a lot of people just like to jump to the conclusion that the only reason someone doesn't like them is their skin color but life isn't like that.

The only thing is come on royce acting like yelawolf took it on to some bext leverl with the wolf comment bro u told him he could be found on his face on front of kid rocks house. So man up on that u took it there first. And if u dont wanna make it thing why throw outbthe racist accusations and just say its not important if u really stand on your belief. I honestly dont think they have proof of this .it's a i heard from this person. When yelawolf has workd with so many black artist and has his album produced by black producers so i am sure sombody would have already got those vibes but yet no one has come out with that . U were a label mate thru the whole Confederate flag issue and still worked with him.

Diego Banda if the vlad rumor is true he wasn’t even the one that said the n word. The whole thing seems messy and not handled well. He can’t say it’s a private matter and not try to handle it privately to start with. That just looks like he’s trying to fan the flames on an already touchy situation in hip hop where the roots of hip hop don’t like where the branches have branched off to. Genres of music often are born from others, but when they first emerge they are often shit on by the former who want to keep things “their” way, the original way, and feel threatened by something out of the box.

Everything he says about the Yelawolf situation could be flipped around on him too though. "You dont want to be taking everything so personal and getting bent out of shape". Also says Yelawolf never reached out, but in another interview he said Wolf reached out and he chose not to respond.. Apparently Royce's window wasn't a very large one. He acts like Yelawolf ain't got his own shit going on besides keeping Royce pleased
@a.a.36994 жыл бұрын
Quinton Schmidt Assuming the story is true, I feel like he’s mad Yela didn’t snap on the guy who said the N word. Maybe Yela didn’t feel the need to be responsible for what comes out another man’s mouth, and he was telling that youngin that racist people exist and you’ll have to deal with that hard fact in life. Did he address it with the guy? Maybe he did in private. Who knows? I think if Royce felt a way about it, he should have reached out. It’s not up to Yela to read Royce’s mind and know he’s mad about something he’s heard about second hand across the country.
