Great vid Terry. Good to see you out and about. Have you seen the native Siberians' knives? They are called Yakut knives, they are convex on 1 side and flat with a fuller on the other and are rt or left hand specific. Ive got to try one. All the best, John.

Good practices. So few people prep more fire material than they think they will need. You had 2 full chances to make a fire from start to finish. I know you’ve been in shit weather and needed a fire.

Hey something i’m curious about that you may know. I live in quad cities ia side. Pretty much anywhere somewhat close to me that i can practice bushcraft is surrounded by lots of farms. I’m concerned about drinking water from any of these places even boiled because of all the pesticides/fertilizer in use. In your opinion is this a valid concern or am i making too big a deal out of it?
@iawoodsman6 жыл бұрын
Hey Phil I get what you are saying. I never drink ground water around farms. I almost always pack it in.
@philw80496 жыл бұрын
Rodger that and thx for the response. I have been doing that, i would prefer to bushcraft the "correct" way by collecting and boiling water but that was my concern. Thanks again.
