I absolutely love this. A close friend I lost recently swore up and down that he was the original writer for this music, and though I don't believe that in the least bit, I still like listening to this and thinking of him

i bought this album when it came out, and i remember knowing that vision one was going to be my favorite track off the album before i'd heard a single second. all these years later and it's still my favorite track off the album

One of the most futuristic creations in music production and songwriting I've been afforded to hear and listen to. Inspiring music and very philosophical theme. Its the stuff that makes you think about creation itself. This is music with the future in mind or the music itself was made in the future who knows. I Dont know, Royksopp would know.

There was a time when all the shadows of these tall buildings Would throw their cape around each corner of the grassy fields And one by one, each huge shade would cover the green with black Allowing changes that we could not have foreseen. Everybody let us gaze upon the world we created And let's rest our eyes upon the great machine as we wave goodbye Feel the evening breeze caress us while the cities are dying As we watch it fall into a modern state, a modern time.

Remember when we'd hear the distant sound of human life. A zillion noises whimper as they travel through the sky. And one by one, each little sound has faded away with time. Allowing changes that we could not have foreseen. Everybody let us say goodbye to all our notions. 'Cause it's not enough to say that we're humane when we're left behind. It's too late to think that we can worship human emotions. 'Cause we've already evolved into machines in our minds.

@trespire10 жыл бұрын
He is a monk. The exercise is a form of meditation. When practicing this type of exercise one can attain a state of perception of ourselves and our environment, by dividing the attention between several things at the same time. Walking in a precise way, ringing the bell, chanting, counting the repetitions .. Our capacity for attention can be trained and strengthener, just like a muscle. This is a form of " internal development " or working on ones self.
@smartchip8 жыл бұрын
thats one way of being spiritual, the more extreme this guy gets means he will contemplate more and more, walking slower, ringing the bell slower, etc, on the other is a well known religion, just ends up killing and murdering more and more, in ever more gruesome ways, the latter is taking over, i wonder why !
