This is the scene you can REALLY tell how much her voice has changed compared to Rummage. Also she looks so distraught when she’s called defective, noooooo. 😭
@sergioandrescontreras525116 күн бұрын
Rummage was wrong. Roz is not defective. She’s just different. I have seen that with many robots in movies and tv. Roz having human emotions doesn’t make her any worse. It makes her better and I think we can all agree that if robots had human emotions, the world would be much better. Who’s your favorite robot? Mine is WALL.E from WALL-E, but Roz from The Wild Robot is a close second.
@0hvist13 күн бұрын
Thing is, Rummage is still following her core directives. She never went on any sort of life-changing journey that would have redefined her core programming in challenging inventive ways. She's still in "Factory Default Mode" when she's turned on.

I have never watched this movie before and I love robots gone free will. Here's my favorites…… - Wall-e: gained personality through glitches, seeking love than being lonely in a deserted world. - Mega Man: from house maid robot to a super fighting robot, chose to fight for justice among his will. - Mega Man X: the only Maverick Hunter who can worry and cry for others, which such emotion can give him possibilities to win the fight. - E-123 Omega: once built to destroy but decided to go rogue, joining forces with his former enemies, sworn for vengeance against his creator. - Jenny Wakeman: built as a super hero but adores the life of a teenager, only to suffer with peer pressure and relationship with mankind. - Doraemon: first caretaking robot gaining a personality, befriending a human kid to help him get a better future.

To be fair, it was an INDIE film that won out. That is incredibly impressive and rare. Wild Robot is one of my fave movies ever, but I gotta admire the fact that an indie film beat out Disney, Pixar, AND Dreamworks.
