Hey man, thanks a ton! I was facing an issue where my CAF and their opponents were showing up as static during career mode. Following one of the setting changes you recommended help fix it! It was driving me crazy and thanks to your video I was able to fix it. I am facing another problem though and that is that everytime I do the Heavy Bag training the game crashes but all other training methods seem to work. Thank you for your help and your well made video. it was super helpful! Im so glad to be able to play this masterpiece once again! Now all we need is a community to organize tournaments! :D

@@alimoorad5998 Seems as though the training modes vary for some people, personally I have never had an issue with them. I would recommend just simulating them to be honest, you still get the same results from it as you would by actually playing the training.

​@twurtleee not true. Sim is 2 stars, you can get 5 playing the training which gives you a higher stat increase

I copied your settings to rpcs3 version "0.0.32-16754-b5aac6d8 Alpha | master". It's good during the entrances but it goes in slow motion during the fight. Often there's a bottom left box saying "compiling shaders". Furthermore, the custom fighters have messy textures. My system is Ryzen 7 7800x3D, RTX 4070 and 32 gb ram.

The game drops to 40 fps whenever I am in a fight. Is there any way to overclock or something to prevent the fps from going so low or should I just lock it at a steady 30 fps?

on my system the game runs 60fps all the time until i get into a fight. it fluctuates between 40-60 fps no matter what i do. i remember last year i had the game running 60fps all the time on a 12700k and 3080. now i have a 7800x3d and 4080 super but cant get the same performance.

No, this is a known issue with the game. There is no fix yet for the missing graphics, the only time they show up is during the cutscenes and replays right now.

What's your opinion on turning on the "Force CPU blit emulation" in the Debug menu of RPCS3? On the wiki it says that it "Fixes visual issues while in-game", what's your take on it?

Yeah, I'd try it and use it if it helps you, typically the debug tab imo is like a last ditch effort for games if I can't get it to run properly with any other settings. If you're having issues and you've been through everything you can on the CPU/GPU tabs, I'd turn it on and see how the game performs then.

@@twurtleee So far your settings in the video work great, I guess some new updates to RPCS3 helped as well, but I was finally able to finish career mode with no crashes. I still see some corrupted textures here and there, but I haven't tried the Force CPU blit emulation yet as it wasn't in your settings. I might try it to see if I see any difference (mainly to prevent corrupted textures from appearing). At least the game is now stable with these settings, not a single crash during gameplay on an 8700k (5GHz OC) and RTX 2070.

Bit late on replying, my bad. Try changing your SPU Decoder setting to ASMJIT in the cpu tab. It may or may not work, Its the only thing that would really fix the slow motion issues except for changing the game speed, but that causes a whole bunch of other issues when you do.

That is normally due to a corrupted game file, re-dump your game if you dumped the files from the game disk itself and or re-download it, maybe try a different source if you downloaded it somewhere.

Each persons performance is going to vary a little bit since everyone's PC is different, I normally don't encounter very many crashes while playing. The main reason you will encounter any crashes is due to a low performing CPU, RPCS3 devs recommend an 8core 16thread CPU to run smoothly with little to no crashes, bugs, etc. The emulator is very demanding, so as long as you have a good PC, with a pretty good CPU you should be fine 👍
