I'm currently in a course which went WAY too fast into R and I was fully panicking this past weekend and ready to quit. I'm not even kidding when I say this made me cry with relief. I finally understand something!! Thank you for taking the time to make sense of this for people who are new to it. So many people seem to 'gatekeep' this information and not simplify it enough to make it make sense.

This is a lifesaver. I have taught Statistics at the college level for some three decades, but have decided to incorporate R for the first time. Just bookmarked this tutorial for future reference when playing with graphs. It's normally very intimidating for me to do solo because I am afraid of messing up the syntax and not being able to identify the error, but having a frame to look at REALLY helps me be less skittish in playing with the visualizations.
