Great video flishplate7, i am more of a diesel lover than steam but appreciate both. Great to see an 071 with the beautiful Mk3s and the A Class on Ballast. Keep uploading these wonderful memories.

Excellent fishplate, not much footage of the Moate line on yt, the hedges could have done with a trim at 4:41!

A lovely piece of history here! Seems so strange to see 461 in black! Bart.

Thanks and its great to be able to upload videos again. What I have, and will be posting, is a double headed A class oil train in Enfield crossing an RPSI tour. The shots are from inside the RPSI train so its not great. The Maynooth Station clip of the 14th May 1994 has an A class crossing a commuter service. I have a great shot though of an A class on an Ammonia leaving Newbridge following a crew change! Will get round to them soon!

Thanks for the feedback. Yes that was definitely one where leaning out the window heading towards Moate could have had disasterous consequences! I have more footage of Moate in the late 1990's. No trains I'm afraid, just a lovely old station badly in need of some love and attention! More to come!

Thanks Nicky. Dracula, as you call him, was none other than Thom McGinty otherwise known as the Diceman. He could be found mainly in Grafton Street in Dublin entertaining the multitudes. He was well known around town. I don't know why he was on the train!

Any idea why the fella dressed as Dracula was on the train? Great video all the same!
