I probably posted this sometime in the past, but the first time I heard this performance and song a couple of years ago, it came up on my suggested playlist on Amazon and I wasn't really paying attention and as it started playing I was like "whoah... Floyd or Gilmour did some new music!!! Wasn't until I looked at who it was before I realized that it wasn't them. That's a HUGE compliment to RPWL. So I sent it to a music loving friend and didn't tell him who it was either, and he thought the exact same thing. LOVE this song!!!

The verses sound strikingly similar to 30 Seconds To Mars's 'Echelon'. It wouldn't surprise me if these guys had heard Mars's first album, as it too has some prog-rock elements.

So much like Pink Floyd after Roger Waters left (80's/90's Floyd). Wilson sounds like Gilmore vocally, guitarists is not a Gilmore "tone" but style wise, yes, a bit , not exactly, like Gilmore.
