This is a teaching video to show you where you can jump your car in Real Racing 3. I start with the basic jumps and move on to the big ones. The trickiest part is capturing pictures of the action!! The popular Nurburgring jump can be seen at 2:40. It's the easiest one to take that looks decent. The biggest jump is at Laguna Seca and can be seen at 6:05. My driver settings here are Tilt B, no assists, sensitivity 3
A KZbinr texted me in Spanish asking me for a Spanish commentary. I only speak English so I couldn't do that. However I decided to put down some basic explanations and run it through a Google translator for him. I thought I'd add the English version here, as I didn't put some of this in the video. Here it is:
(1) The best cars for jumping have good speed and good grip or traction. (2) You need to have all assists off. "Brakes" and "Traction" will slow you down as you head to the jump. "Steering" may affect your race line heading to the jump. (3) You have to capture the action when it happens. That means you have to have a finger ready on the pause button as you are jumping. You will find when you use the replay feature, that your jumps won't exist. Your car will be almost entirely on the ground. Resume and pause quickly to get your car to move just a tiny bit each time so you can try to get the best picture. Change the camera angles to get more dramatic pictures. If you touch your screen with two fingers you can slide the whole perspective up, down and sideways. This can make it look like you're taking the picture from the ground compared to a standing position. Well I think that should cover it. I hope you become airborne very soon. Happy racing!

After the first right turn on Circuit de spa-francorchamps, you have a long straight and then you have an uphill S curve. Instead of going through the turn go up to the grass and hit the barrier on the right side of the road it should be in the grass. On a fast car you can easily get about 10 feet of air

Yeah, that's a good one too. There are actually many places to jump/fall high from. I just picked 3 with Laguna Seca being the highest. Laguna is a combination of a high jump and great camera angles due to the terrain drop that is still on track. Nurburgring is one of the easiest to get a decent jump at. The hardest part I think is being ready on the pause button!

Nope. I’ve tried. There an invisible wall you that will drag you down. However if you have an iPhone and you go view a car in garage mode, you can enter BETA view and then walk all around Brands hatch. Even on the other side of the fences!

I bought a bit of gold but I’ve never bought $R. I bought the 1019 gold package twice when it was offered to me at 80% off. At the time it worked out to about $24 Canadian which is not bad at all. That same package is now $140 Canadian! I played the game pretty obsessively for years, farming like crazy. For the most part I bought as few upgrades as necessary, usually waiting for sales on more expensive upgrades.

You should turn off all assists for this. Just pause the game a little while before the jump, turn them off and try to fly. If you are used to using steering assist then increase your sensitivity by 3 when you turn it off.

Hi there. On the main screen, press the "gear" icon in the bottom left. Then press the "computer monitor" icon. Then you just find "Display Speed" and change it. You can also do this mid race! Just pause the game and follow the same steps.

For this video I used Mobizen for Samsung. It's the best one I've found so far. It will allow 1080 HD. The only downside is that you get no audio while recording do to a Samsung thing. Great stereo recording in the video though! Then I imported the video into PowerDirector so I could add annotations. The downside to that is it lowers my quality to 720 HD, but it still looks good to me. It's also responsible for the audio delay glitch that happens later, but I've haven't experienced that since. It's all free apps which I sure like!

Appreciate the video, but its like... big whoop. 10 feet of air at laguna seca. Anyone remember the glitches in psx gran turismo 2... break out of the course at a wall on the straight (that was sposed to be the cancelled drag race track) and you could drive straight at the corkscrew to see your car shoot 500ft into the air. Similar glitch at seattle that carried over to gt3 on the ps2.

Taking some air time wasn't a big deal with RR3. That could be why jumps aren't even well shown. The shadows are messed up along with wheel alignment. EA really was cheap here.

Yes, that can happen when you hit curbs. I do that a lot as I drive on the curbs a lot. Sometimes if your steering sharply when you have a little hop like that, your car will actually completely turn around before it lands backwards. 😂. It might freak you out if it happens but that’s what it is.

I just tried it in 2 different cars. I had several jumps and 1 BIG one, neither showed in the replay. In fact, one had me down in the sand rather than way above it. Looked like I drove into quick sand!

I think it's because the game never meant for us to jump. So when you watch a replay, your car is on the ground. That's why you must get the jump as it happens.

The point of any video game is 2 fold: (1) Make the game company money. (2) Provide players with entertainment. Those 2 points are interconnected. If the game isn't enjoyable, the company doesn't make money. If the company doesn't make money, they can't make a quality entertaining game. Each person is free to decide why they play this game. The creator's don't care, as long as it gets played. Some people enjoy a strict interpretation of this game where all racing must be on track and no contact is allowed. That's fine. Other people want to own every car available. That's fine. Some people just want to get one certain car to drive. That is also fine. To clear up your confusion, I have almost 700 videos. The vast majority do not involve jumping or crashing. The majority are to help people earn cars with minimal upgrades in Special Events and to run endurance races as long as they want to. The former requires hard, focused and sometimes creative driving. The latter is the fastest way to earn currency in this game.

TRANORS RAZER, hey there. Ive got almost 3000 hours of game play. I used to run 10 lap LeMans twice a day. 18 races a day on double fame weekends! I've done many thousands of laps at Porsche Short Track Endurance. Only buying the upgrades that I need (for the most part). Teams events, sometimes as a 1-man team. Always group B in weekly tournaments. I bought the 1019 gold pack twice when it was 80% off early on, which helped me to get the 10 lap LeMans race quicker. Just last week I did one race that was 400 laps @ Porsche Short Track in the FXX K for the German Laps Challenge. As a one-man team I got all the rewards plus around 420,000 fame for the race. So a lot of long hard racing and careful spending. Carter Johnson, hey there. Are you referring to how much gold and R$ I have?? I've never hacked RR3. Last time I used a cheat code I was a teenager on a console game and the victory was empty for me. I haven't done it since. If you scroll down you will find other people have asked me about my gold and I gave a detailed reply there. Some people have accused me of hacking when I show pictures of big jumps, so maybe that's what you meant. I made this video to show that anyone can do it. Happy racing.
