Vaccancy Mechanical :273 Electrical : 150 Total : 423 ( Applicable to both branch) 423*15= 6345/9780 Same time Applicants Chennai =1.17 Lakh Number of students attended = Assume 75% Approximately = 90K ( Civil + Mech+ EC+ Electrical + CS+ Physics / Chemistry ( CMA post) Approximately 2/6* 90 K from Electrical / Mech = 30 -35 K/90K From that 6345 / 30 K (Mech& Electrical ) will be selected for CBT-2 That means 1/5 people will be selected But CBT-2 it is 1/15 people feel the diffrence CBT-2 is 3 times thougher than CBT-1 for CBT-1 only 25%-30% study but for CBT-2 95% above will prepare
