Calcium ions Ca2+ play a crucial role in blood clotting. They are essential for various steps in the coagulation cascade, including the activation of certain clotting factors. Potassium ions K+, on the other hand, are NOT directly involved in the clotting process. K+ ❌ Ca 2+ ✅ K+ is pottasium K+ is NOT vitamin K. Please don't get confused.
