A real modeler appreciates the time and effort other modelers put into their kits, also the whole point of model kits is building them the way you want to either straight out of the box or customize them, its your choice and no one forces you to do it, people should at least appreciate the time and effort guys like rrobbert184 and of course gals like prime92 puts into their kits either by customizing them or just plain reviewing.

You have to be a juvenile to argue one way of doing something is wrong. I paint my kits because I desire a different look, but Robert produces some good looking models out of the box. Thanks Robert! This kit looks fascinating, and once I get the money I SOMEHOW want to get this thing home here in the mid-west US.

Not dissing the old HG version of this model. Back then it was the best we had at that time. I enjoyed it. But this new MG just blows it out of the water.

I realized on the HG Epyon box art that the face does not have the red part on the lower half, it remains white with panel linings. but in the anime the MG version is more accurate... Inconsistencies...

was the old high grade you refer back to a 1/100 scale? it seems so many of the parts are the same size which seems strange to me considering im used to hg and mg being much different sizes

@charlespennywhacker Luckily it doesnt effect you in anyway, i have well over 100 kits most being MG and 3 being PG, none are painted (minus 2) and none are panel lined(because i think it looks horrible) i just snap them together and stick them on my shelf.

@charlespennywhacker I don't remember rrobbert1894 calling himself a real modeler. He just snap kits together, give it a fine touch with his marker and then review it, what's the problem ? He gives us a nice look of how the Gunpla is build, how the parts are made, and a good look of out the kit is straight out of the box. You don't have to be that SERIOUS with model kit, come on, everyone do what he thinks is the best for his kits, leave him alone, man.

@charlespennywhacker how can you judge who and who isn't a real modeler based on if they paint their kits. Not everyone has the time to paint their kits and he actually does a lot of people a favor by showing it straight out of the box.

But everybody do have different "Happiness", if anyone do enjoy to just made it and happy so let them be, don't force them to go serious like others do if it's don't make them happy. If they feel like happy to go paint they'll do it without your words. All I want to say is, leave him alone if you don't like that he's not painting the kit.

It's still cocky of robert to claim he's "too lazy to paint". That implies he actually can paint. I'm guessing he can't paint well, because otherwise he would. He doesn't even topcoat his shit. Bandai's whole "molded in color" thing is a marketing ploy targeted at children just getting into modeling. If robert wants to remain stagnant as a molder, fine. Don't expect everyone to love his work on the internet, because honestly he puts in minimal effort on his models.

Iv ben a Transformers fan for a very long time and I seen the first 2 TF movies and liked them bothe when me and my mom whent to go see TF DOTM it was sooo boring and hardly reconised eny Transformers it realy was a total letdown and now I call it darkside of the bafoon lol
