RRReis Route 352 - By trolleybus from Arnhem to Nijmegen

From May 2024, RRReis line 352 from Arnhem to Wageningen will be operated with trolleybuses. Between Arnhem and Oosterbeek, service runs under the overhead line of the former trolleybus city line 1, which was closed due to a lack of passengers. The batteries of the trolleybus are charged on this route. The batteries are then sufficiently charged to cover the rest of the journey to Wageningen. The ten trolleybuses were built by the Polish Solaris and have the type designation Trollino 18 Metrostyle. They are registered in the name of Transdev subsidiary Hermes and, in anticipation of the new concession, they already have the new RRReis corporate identity prescribed by the province.

Ik heb op Trolleymotion gelezen dat de inschrijving voor de nieuwe concessie in december van dit jaar van start gaat en pas in juni 2025 bekend wordt gemaakt welke vervoerder de concessie wint.
