RS Pro RPE 2323 power supply teardown (

Hello. Good, detailed review. Tell me if there is a schematic diagram of this power supply. It broke for me. I want to have it repaired.

Unfortunately there is no service manual or schematics that I know of. If you search for "GPE-2323 manual" there is at least a block diagram with a list of the important components that might be of use to you.

Nice review - I have the GPE-4323 model and was also wondering about the transformer bolt shorting the core but there is an isolating washer mounted from the front of the PSU.

thank you for great presentation. I watched with full concentration. I have this model exactlly. unfortunately its 4 PIC microcontroller mine device failed. Is there any solution?

Can you elaborate on the failure? In other words, did all the PICs fail or just one? Is the unit still partially operating? (I'm thinking that perhaps the power supply to the PICs may have failed.)

it seems like the center screw on the transformer is shorted, that forms like a secondary winding

At 12:00 I test just that - and confirm that it is fully isolated.

Should of used a plastic pryber in the beginning of dismantling.
