I thought Revo woukd only support their stage2 if it used their own intake and elbow?

It’s doesn’t really matter tbh, it such a small differential of airflow from one to another as such that the car will safely meter changes like that. It’s really only when you make changes to fuelling or airflow through the turbo charger and that’s it really, stage 2 will support so many set ups as long as there is a good intercooler in place

I’m mean it’ll help at the end of the day but it’s already a super quick and good gearbox. My guess is it’ll help the launch no end and the changes in general a tiny bit but it likely puts extra risk on components….. that being said I’ve seen 1300bhp RS3’s and TTRS on stock boxes and shafts etc only with clutch pack upgrades it’s mad

So what hp level does the stock rs3 intercooler max out at?

It doesn’t technically max out at even 500bhp, it’ll have a flow rate and potential flow rate but what that flow rate can effectively cool at specific engine efforts is another story. Realistically the stock cooler is good for stock power levels on the road even driven relatively hard but when on track it struggles. If you drive a car really hard or at any higher than stock power levels a cooler is advised and recommended. This is based on tests I’ve seen but not my experiences. You could technically probably run a stage 1 map if you didn’t drive hard continuously or if you take it on track. I know that’s a funny answer but I hope you understand what I mean. Most cars are very undercooled these days or don’t have cooling capabilities for much more than stock power levels. I did some personal calculations on the Revo intercooler and it should be good for 550-650bhp with decent ease, that coupled with its cost it’s an epic intercooler and if anything for its value it’s the best by far due to all those reason and fitment and space too. If you wanna pay close to double the price yes you may get better but it then becomes a question of how good does it need to be.
