If you look through the telescope a 2nd time (after quest complete) you will be directed to retrieve a book that leads you to a grave that leads you to unlocking the ability to craft unholy relics (be sure to ask the npc for an unholy relic before you leave!). This is an achievement needed for the quest cape. Another great video, thanks!! :)
