I expect his commentary to complain about Rassie naming an unchanged squad for the 2nd test.

@Jesus_is_Lord_316 Perhaps the fact that online Bok fans are so nauseating? Proud to say I have never listened to any sort of Bok related podcast and never will. Can't wait for this series to be over and we can play some classier off-field opposition I.e. anyone but SA!

I am predicting a much more polished performance by the Boks. Also expecting a change in tactics.

I'm a little disappointed not to see Sacha start, or Wiese come in at no. 8 to replace Kwagga, who is always better off the bench. SA had three main weaknesses in the previous test: breakdown, scrum, and kicking. Rassie is loyal to his players, as his selection of Kolisi as captain has shown, but there's a risk that playing Pollard again will cost the Boks dearly.

Wiese is still suspended until the 3 Rugby Championship test vs NZ. The only alternative to Kwagga is to start with Roos

surprising that rassie made no changes. boks were dynamic in the wide channels but the forward pack seemed to lack any sort of incisive running, which made it easier for ireland to adjust after 20 mins. why they continue to leave out evan roos is beyond me.

Now that Ireland know what's coming, let's see if they can stop it.

If you win on Saturday against what is looking like a depleted Irish team, it will mean nothing to you guys or Rassey deep down, as you will know Ireland just didn’t have the players available to put up a good fight. Shame, I would love to see our best 23 players available to take on SA, I don’t know when the next time will be?

@@lizzyhanahoe4197 this series is not just about winning or "rectifying" the record as Rassie mentioned before. It's about recalibrating Irish Rugby Egos. The Boks will be feared again after this. Maybe not by ignorant Irish fans and pompous pundits, but certainly by the Irish players. It's time for Irish players to appreciate the harsh reality of facing the Boks on South African soil and respect them whenever they meet around the globe. And yes, Irish arrogance were taken very seriously and very personally. There are only 4 nations that's ever lifted the WC Trophy. You don't go around getting up in peoples faces after a pool match when you haven't even managed to reach the Semi-Final of a World Cup. It's time you get back in your box. This means much more than the Irish can comprehend.

@@morneviljoen4789 oh dear, I think you have taken everything far too personally, I didn’t mean to upset you like this. The Irish players have just faced the mighty SA team on Saturday, you won. I thought we put up a good fight, it wasn’t our best display but the game was very close and could have gone either way. About getting into peoples faces, that is sportsground banter, any player will tell you that. I can assure you the players and coaching staff only ever speak of SA with the greatest respect, trust me. No we haven’t won a WC, we are building rugby in Ireland, it is becoming I think more popular but that will take time. I am really hoping we continue to build and get a bigger pool of players for selection going forward. I think competition in every sport is important to keep it fresh. It can becoming boring if the same team(s) win every time. Don’t you think? I am sorry if I have offended you, it wasn’t my intention, but please don’t tell us to “get back in our box”, that is totally unnecessary, and furthermore we have never been in a box. All the best.

@@lizzyhanahoe4197 You're allowed to think whatever you want. And what you think is irrelevant to me. You don't upset me. I'm merely trying to articulate to you what the South African approach to this series is. It's very personal. And I'm stating why it's personal. I'm happy for the Irish to have made progress in Rugby, it's good for the game. God knows the North needs it. You'll learn from experience that a little modesty goes a long way when you're taking your first steps on the success ladder. I hope the Irish (fans and pundits) learn that it takes the shine off the trophy when you achieved success but nobody likes or respects you.

Most South Africans were not expecting an unchanged line up, which is probably why Rassie picked one. The strategy is clear: correct the mistakes of the first test - there were many, committed by both sides - and hope this is enough to take the Boks over the line. It's high risk - it's the end of the season and many legs are tired, including Pollard's - but it might work.

We have four better attacking flyhalves than Pollard and our backline only looked dangerous on Saturday when Willie stepped into the distributor slot. If he is not kicking his goals, he is not our best option and it's high time that people started to realise that.
