Finaly someone who understand the RSI. I trade the rsi a lot and i always say there is no oversold or overbought in the rsi. To go short when the rsi is below 30 is much better then going short when its above 70, but no one believed me xd

200 RSI trouble. I'm using T or S and I find the higher the number goes, the flatter and lower the RSI line goes. Secondly, I been trading since last March and after watching numerous other videos on RSI, I thought I knew all there was on it. But I was not really happy with it. Then I saw that you had a new video (that was only 7 minutes long, a big plus), I thought I give you a try. Bro am I glad I did. Thank you for sharing your prospective. Your the best. 5 Stars.

As an old hand I remember realising that it could stay above 70 for a long time while the trend continues and vice versa. It's a very good point to make for those starting out. Best to study the charts to see the relationship, twixt price and RSI, after heeding your instruction.👍 NoAxe

Please talk about the algo induced spike down in markets in the last 24 hours...This cannot be worldwide manual selling pressure...mini crashes are really common now to run your stops...need to rethink whether to use stops or posssibly just do not overleverage your account so you can allow for these algo spikes...the algos are hungry for your cash...

You are better off just using the conventional 14period RSI and adjusting the timeframe since that signal will be what the algos and other traders will be basing trades off of. Another important factor when using the RSI is to pay attention to the RSI of the broader market and sectors. When the broader market has an RSI in the high 60s and rising that is the sort of environment where you want to actually look for individual stocks that are "overbought" with RSI readings greater than 70 and buy them. When conditions are such that broader market RSI is elevated often times individual stocks with RSIs in the 70s will tend to keep going higher to print RSI readings in the 80s and above

It depends on what your intended time frame is on a trade. If you intend to hold a position for multiple months you should be looking at monthly charts. If you only intend to hold a position for a few days you should be looking at the daily time frame etc. Keep in mind that the longer the time frame you are trading the greater the expected price range for a security. If you are trading a weekly or monthly timeframe then you need to set stoplosses wider compared to a daily or hourly time frame.
