Oh man that “he was molesting all of us” was actually really sad. The only reason OP escaped the molestation was because she avoided her house while the others, when OP unwittingly brought to light the trauma they had experienced felt so much shame to protect themselves they turned on the person who said the truth.

My mother has an I called it moment. She went to the doctor while pregnant with me and told them I wasn’t moving and she was worried. The staff there kept her waiting for HOURS and kept trying to get her to leave and return in a day or two, telling her she was overreacting and I was fine and just probably wasn’t moving much. She just KNEW something was off and refused to leave. When they finally took her back for an ultrasound, the nurse went PALE and went to get a doctor. They told her I had drank(idk if this is the exact term used) all the fluid in her stomach and she needed to be put in labor IMMEDIATELY. They induced her, and she gave birth to me quite prematurely. She told me the doctor had told her that if she had left the office and come back in a day or two, like the staff kept insisting she do, that I would have almost certainly been stillborn. She tells me that she felt like a full blown Karen while pitching a fit, demanding to be seen. Both of us, of course, are super grateful that she insisted on staying.
@Xolivas1 Жыл бұрын
My mom almost had a similar situation when she had me, except it was worse. The doctor told her that not only her water was basically gone, but I had breached. The moment when the baby basically flips over to the point where the baby is feet first. That was basically me. So he told her "either he comes out today or he dies in the womb from lack of oxygen." My parents chose the birth and she was induced immediately. After a C-section surgery, I was born premature. The doctors were worried if my lungs weren't fully developed, but once I started wailing they all sighed in relief. My lungs were fully developed. I was a healthy baby, even though I was born at least a MONTH early (I was born in june, was supposed to be born on 4th of July).

The birth story is eery. My daughter was upside down the last 3 months of my pregnancy & spent every waking moment kicking me in the same spot on my rib. Her birth lasted 4 hours and was one of the fastest the staff had ever seen, especially for a first-time mother. The bone bruise she gave me took months to heal & I'm amazed she hadn't injured her foot. Oh, and two weeks earlier, I dreamed the entire birth as if watching a movie. My husband refused to believe we were having a girl right up until the doc handed her to him.

Reminds me of how my mom kept insisting something wasn't /quite/ right with me. And when they do her C-section, they were like "Uh, this is gunna be weird, but we gotta lift your ribcage" my head was stuck in her ribs, and I was a premie. My foot was also next to my ear and that foot still naturally turns inward, very pigeon toed my entire life. She was like "I knew something was very wrong."

The child molester story confuses me so much. So i get the point that he molested all the other girls but they all got mad at OP when she called him that and then presided to bully OP after the incident. And the way rSlash read it made it sound like a huge drop of a bomb in a very casual way.
@Thastormable5 жыл бұрын
Based on the way it was brought up one of two things happened most likely, either 1.they were all molested but her before her saying her intuition and they were in such denial they had to outcast her because they didn't want to even humor the idea they may have been molested. While 2. She guessed it, they acted harsh, she left, and later they were all molested but because of pride of casting her out they couldn't back out now.

Statistically, child victims are far more likely to have a close relationship with their abuser. Unfortunately, due to this being the case most times, they tend to force themselves into the belief that it’s normal. Yes, they also typically know it truly isn’t right, but still feel they have an obligation to stay quiet in fear of hurting those around them with the truth.

One time I heard another one call it, was actor David Prowse calling it about Darth Vader being Luke’s father. It was on Netflix. An interview documentary behind the scenes of Star Wars, but only with the supporting cast, or unseen actors (masks). And David had said in an interview after Star Wars was released, that he was a big Shakespeare fan, due to the high amount of drama. And that he would love it if it turned out that Darth Vader was Luke’s father because it would be, a Shakespeare level drama lol.

Not my "I told you so", but my mom's. Our school always held a small ceremony when the school year ended for summer break. At the end of my 5th year, my mom looked at my teacher and said "Is she pregnant?" my step brother (who was in the same class) and I both said no. Well fast forward to the start of the 6th year and guess what? The teacher informs us that she is indeed pregnant. I told her my mom could spot it before the summer. She said that was impossible, because she didn't even know it back then. But if you did the math, my mom was spot on. She was pregnant during that ceremony. Regardless of whether she knew it herself.

Towards the end of my mom’s pregnancy with my little brother one day she sensed that something was really off and told the doctors. At last she screamed at them, told them that something was really wrong and that they couldn’t stop the delivery from happening right now because she has to give birth NOW! They listened to her and good they did or my brother would have been still born. They told her so afterwards, it was something with the umbilical cord, something about him being choked.

Something about him, made me uncomfortable, and he was constantly getting into trouble. In my early 30s my mom and I were watching the news, and the kid I felt uncomfortable about had been arrested for murder. My mom asked, "Wasn't that the same guy you used to tell me about ?" She was shocked, because back then I said he was probably going to murder someone.

I use to predict all kinds of stuff when I was in my 20's in the Army. I use to do it so often my friends started getting scared. 1) The first while me and three friends was smoking weed. I told one of them that he was gonna marry Pam, a girl he had just started dating less than a week before. He laughed at me, but they got married. 2) a few months later, I told them (and my other friends) that Pam was pregnant. Everybody laughed except Pam. She screamed at me how did I know, she had just taken the test and had not told anybody (not even her husband). 3) I told another of the females (we were a group of 4 married couples, now that Pam was pregnant. All the women were pregnant at the same time) that she would be having her baby within a week. She laughed and said my wife or one of the other women would, because they where farther along than her. She was only 7 months. I told her on a Sunday, she had the baby that Tuesday (she was mad at me too) 4) When my wife was in the hospital, the nurse had her hooked up listening to the baby's heart beat. And all the women was saying it was gonna be a girl. I told all of them it was a 7lb baby boy. (My son weighed 7lb on the nose). Funny thing is once I stopped smoking weed (The Army started doing drug testing), I could barely predict the time of day with a watch on. However, those days in the Army at Fort Knox (with those people). Was some of the best days of my life, when I think about the old days, they are the people that come to my mind.

First time watching Frozen in theaters. Afterwards, my family asked for my thoughts (they saw it the week before). They acted like I should have been surprised at Hans’s betrayal, and refused to believe I saw it coming. I pointed out two examples of how Hans was deceptive and power-grabbing, they dismissed it as me just making excuses. Then I said that Hans staged the chandelier accident, looking up before running over and before aiming the crossbow himself. Hans takes out the queen, and becomes King Regent through Anna. Exactly as he describes before dousing the fire. They insisted I was the deluded egomaniac. Until they watched it again.

Few years ago my friend wanted to tell me something in private at work. I guessed she was pregnant and it was a girl. Whole pregnancy I told people it was a girl. It was. Then my husband's best friend and his wife were expecting. They weren't telling the gender. I took one look at his friend and thought, "everyone is thinking boy but its a girl and he's super excited to get a little princess. Aww, that's sweet!" And again, girl. Those are 50/50 guesses, of course, so here's the third one: husband's bf and wife conceived again after the girl. Again, not telling the gender. I looked at him and thought, "this time he got a son... and he's proud because there's two of them." Sure enough, I'm the only one in the betting pool who said, "twin boys."

I actually had two cases with my mom that I called it: one when she wanted to swap out of a class for a different one and another when my fall course bill wasn't showing up. The first story: it happened a few months ago when my local college opened up classes to sign up for the spring semester 2019. After I made my initial schedule, which took much longer than I thought, my mom wanted to switch out one class for another but I would see that as a problem as we already pay for the classes and I would need to pay extra and my mom said I shouldn't worry about it; by the time that I done it, I had to pay $20 extra. The second story: My mom went to make my schedule for my fall semester early so that I wom't miss getting my needed classes; because on how early she done it, she was on edge to figure out why the bill wasn't available. By the time I called my college, they gave me the reason why that bill isn't showing up and that it perfectly matched up with how I thought it wasn't showing up.

I shared that story with a friend who worked nights at Denny’s for years around high school. He just said, “Yeah...that tracks.” Edit; my one and only real “called it!” moment was watching ‘the Sixth Sense’ with my family as a teenager. At one paused moment my mom asked if I was scared and I said, “No - I like that the main character is a ghost.” And they all went, “Huh?” I think it’s because it was a few months after my first surgery and I still had to periodically hold my side and stuff when I did things like stand up or bend over, so when we see Bruce Willis got shot, fall back, start bleeding out, and then it just cuts to months later all I could think was, “Why isn’t he moving like he’s still recovering from surgery?” I can’t really explain it, I just picked that up right away, and in doing so, I unintentionally ruined the twist at the end for my entire family...

My greatest "I Called It" came when I had a small vacation at my friend's grandmother's house. Since she lived out in the country, we both brought our .22's along. We had been shooting for quite a while, just enjoying all the sorry marksmanship we had. I'm not sure my friend knew it at the time, but when I went to my grandfather's years before when he was still alive, me and my brother were going out of our way to prove our inadequacy with guns, never having anything but birds to shoot at. About the closest we got was knocking some feathers off. My grandfather would always say that we were sissies because the birds were laughing at us (we enjoyed his taunts). We could have a bird literally within fifteen feet on a wire, and miss every single time. Usually the bird wouldn't fly off either, which is I guess where he got the sissy comment, because our bullets weren't even close enough to scare the bird off. But then one day, years later, with my friend, I was just carrying the gun along, not seeing any targets for quite a while, and I spotted a sparrow about fifty yards away on a wire. I don't know why I did it, but something told me I would hit and kill it, so I told him, despite never calling shots, "It's dead". Sure enough, first and only shot at it, down it plummeted off the wire having been hit by my bullet, and it had to be the shot of my life. It probably was the only bird I ever shot and killed, and a precise moment for it. Perhaps the second greatest "I called it" happened when this same friend of mine was in my house. I was showing him a new Siberian Husky video on the tv I had bought. As we were in there, my dog was as well, which, as you guessed, looked an awfully lot like the one depicted on my avatar. I don't know what I picked up on, or what the discussion was exactly, but just as this friend was claiming dogs can't see tv, there was a dog strongly resembling my dog on the screen, and it was walking from the left to the right of it. I called out to my dog, who never had any call to act like this, "Is that your daddy?" and he abruptly gets up and starts sniffing the screen as the dog went across it. This dog didn't respond to much of my commands (mostly because my training was only minimal), and I certainly didn't train him to pay attention to the tv. I'm not sure if he ever paid any attention to the tv other than that one isolated moment.

Three days later she goes into labor. I'm twelve now and he's eight. My mom told me this two years ago and I remember this now

Jokes aside, this is the reason school teachers are known to restrict students from taking bathroom breaks. Not defending teachers that wind up with kids forced to pee in the classroom, but it's also true that some kids will take fake bathroom breaks if not stopped.

Okay here's mine: So, in sixth grade, we read through the book 'A Wrinkle in Time' and even though this book had nothing to do with romance, as soon as you read up to where the main girl character meg, as well as one of the main guys, calvin, get introduced to each other, i knew they would either get together or have some sort of 'moment' by the end (Yes, with most books, you can tell because it's set up that way but this one wasn't, i basically am magical) the kicker is, this one kid (he's still cool, but i fooled him with this one lol) said i was wrong, that they definitely wouldn't get together or have that 'moment' Then, by the end of the book, they kissed. The teacher was reading aloud and when she reached that section, i scream, look over at him, say "I KNEW IT! TOLD YOU!" and i've never been more proud of myself.

I got a few! Story 1: When I was like 5 years old, my mom gave birth to her fourth child. Let's call him S. She brought him home and O. M. G! He screamed CONSTANTLY! I said he was broken and she should trade him in for a new one. I mean, he was forever purple from his constant fits. All these 20-odd years later, he gets checked. Turns out, I wasn't all that far off. He has frontal lobe damage as well as the massive issue cocktail all the members of my family were "blessed" with. Story 2: By the time I was seven, I started saying that S would wind up in jail. This REALLY upset my mom, and another of my bros (let's call him T) would always say I was wrong. Not two years later, he began saying it, too. We would warn him when he was in his mid teens or so that it be kept going on like he was, he'd run his mouth to the wrong people and get completely fucked up or wind up dead. All these years later? He ran from home AGAIN (after his second stint in the slammer) and proceeded to then run his mouth to a group of gents who were just chilling at their place of choice (all who were massive compared to S). They didn't like what he said/did, so they promptly commenced with fucking his shit up. He's currently in jail for the third time. Story 3: When my mom remaried, she planned to take steps to prevent further pregnancies. i mean she had six kids. Six! However, the man she married (though he loved us all as if we were his own, having been there for J's second b-day) he had always wanted to help in that process. It just meant so much to him to be able to have his own baby. So my mom relented. "Fine! But you only get one, buster! So you better make up your mind now!" He responds by saying something like, " but I REALLY want one of EACH". She laughs, says there's no way in HELL, and asks again which he wants. My bro T and I are listening to this whole ordeal when he finally speaks up. See, my mom had six kids, yeah? Technically there were seven, but one was a still born. The line up looked something like this: 🌟 Me (female) 🌟 T (male) 🌟 C (male) 🌟 S (male) 🌟 D (still born female) 🌟 A (male) 🌟 J (male) Bro T said something along the lines of "now that you've said that to him, you're doomed to have twins. Phil and Lil style - one boy, one girl". They go back and fourth for about ten minutes or so, mom arguing that was stupid and HIGHLY unlikely, giving us the statistics and what not. Meanwhile, I'm realizing something kinda funny. I point out the birth order and follow it up by saying something like "wouldn't it be funny if the boy was born first?" Explaining that it would officially make it so there were three boys between every female born. We further pestered her with some illuminati bs that we were really only joking about. Something about the fact that people thought T and I were twins born the 4th and 3rd of the same month respectively but in SEPRATE YEARS! Or how EVERYONE INSISTED that bros S and C who were a year apart were in fact twins. My mom used to insist on dressing them in IDENTICAL OUTFITS! Eventually the day came when she got "pregananant", then a few months before she was due, dad decided he couldn't stand the suspense! He had initially decided that he'd wait until the baby was born to find out what it was. I think he was dreading the news of which journey he'd be missing out on. Anyway, he convinced my mom for an early reveal, so they go to get her "pregante" self an ultrasound. She comes home, ASHEN white! Like she'd seen a spoopy-doops spooper-booper! The SPOOPIEST! It. Was. TWINS! He was on cloud nine! A boy AND a girl! My mom, (seeing our faces - imagine....well, here. Like this: www.pinterest.com/pin/236227942933717964/ ) QUICKLY switched to gloating about how the boy (Adi) was positioned to come out AFTER the girl (Ari). SHE was positioned to come out first tenksmetch! I But not long after, Ask pulled Ari down and was caught with his arms around her and his head resting on here EFFECTIVELY putting HIM in the prime seat for first one out! T and I STILL won't let her live it down! 😂 The fourth story actually left me really shaken, but as this is already really long, I'll leave it out. If anyone's interested, though, just ask and I'll post it on another comment.

The best I called it moment I had was when a friend I made when I entered college was in a relationship with a girl that constantly made crazy antics and mostly guilt-trip my friend by threatening stuff like hurting herself (I knew he was miserable, but I only found out why near the very end), this lasted for months. The very first incident I witnessed was when my friend and I would stay in college for stuff like assignments and student club activities, he was called by her multiple times, she said stuff like her parent were being abusive toward her and other stuff (the what her parents were "doing" changed a bit every call), my friend was stuck with me as he didn't had a car(while I did) and it was near freaking midnight when the bus trips in her area had ended. I offered him my car if he and his GF were in trouble, but he wasn't sure it was for real or not THIS TIME. I again offered him drive my car and myself to her place to check up just in case, while we didn't believe her we though better check just in case and then drive my friend to place, before I drove myself back to my place (Neither my friend, his GF or myself lived in the same area, totaling about 2 hours of travel time for myself, sure it was a chore but to cheer him up even for a bit with a mini friend road trip in the middle of night and avoiding having to sleep on "what if it was for real this time" thoughts all night). Sure enough when we came to her place, I stayed in the car and 10 minutes afterward my friends came out of her place even more dispirited as everything was fine and her parents had no clue why my friend even came to check on his girlfriend if everything was alright (meaning we did do the whole trip for a bag of lies from her part). I don't remember everything we said that night, but I remember having told him if that keep happening as he was letting me implicitly understand, that maybe he should do something differently or reconsider his relationship, especially if his relationship is dysfunctional like my father and my father's girlfriend which leads my father to be unhappy (but that is another story, one that my friend knew which could be summarized as one probable future in such a relationship while being too afraid of being alone if the relationship broke than actually loving/liking his own partner who in return don't really like him at all and has crazy episode in which she can tore a hole in the feelings of anyone nearby (And yes she has mental issues if anyone is wondering)). When I came home it was way past 2:00 AM from all the driving and it was in the middle of the week we all had classes the same morning, at least in my case the class didn't in the morning didn't required our presence at all cost and notes were distributed online. The thing is I often saw my friend f******* tired all the time as she kept doing similar stuff every other days. That went on for a few months or so, nearly a year (my friend ended up having to repeat a few classes and have less class per session to avoid degrading his overall health, as he was clearly not getting any good sleep (sometimes getting guilt tripped so hard he could not sleep)), despite many of our common friends and myself saying that he should not keep his relationship if he is that miserable with her. I also kept likening his relationship to my father's who keep saying all the time that it's the last time his GF is having a crazy episodes. When another time we ended up staying late at our college just before a week-long vacation, we ended up touching the subject, and I remember telling him 2 things as crudely as I could. 1: What is the definition of insanity? (Yes the far cry 3 trailer was running on air at the time, please watch the Far cry 3 definition of insanity if you didn't get the meaning) 2: Are you sure you are even in love, or are you just horny and/or afraid of being single? I remember the look on his face, it was the look of someone that just reevaluated everything in his life. And that is funny because among our friends at the time I was the only one not in a relationship or not seeking one at all. And after the week-long vacation, I saw him for once not tired like a ghost. He told that I really called it as he took the week and avoided his girlfriend for the whole vacation and stayed home having some time for himself and some solo private time too ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Seemed that now he fully understood why I often compared his relationship with my father's. He then told us, that she was often threatening to harm herself and he asked us where to have a room to have a breakup talk with her and to call an ambulance to check up on her for after the talk is done (in our college there is a class department for pre-hospital emergency care so there is always one at school mostly for training purposes and many students and teaching professionals to help if the need appears), as he now believed that while she probably won't harm herself for real, we all best not take chances. All in all you could say that for my friend everything was fixed just by having once the courage to end it, we could offer all the advice we could but ultimately he was the one that needed to start the actions. I haven't kept in touch at all his ex-girlfriend as after her trip to the hospital and having received the support health professional to move on and she hasn't harmed herself afterward to my friend and my own knowledge.

The best example of this I can recall was when I was a kid. My siblings and I were watching Muppet's Christmas Carol on home video. At one point in the movie, Sam the Eagle exclaimed how "That is the American Way!" My mother happened to pause the video right after this line to interrupt with some small issue and I chirped in that the line didn't make sense as a Christmas Carol takes place in London. As soon as they hit play on the movie, The characters have almost the same exchange about it occurring in London, not America.

I was playing D&D with some friends. The party wasn't too far from water when we encountered a horse. No owner in sight, no saddle, no bags. Nice looking horse from the description. I said "This is a kelpie" in character and out of character. My guy was a student of the arcane and had studied magical creatures and this place seemed right for a kelpie to try snagging some victims. The party's healer was very sheltered and had never seen a wild horse before, so she approaches it and my guy follows her. I fail an arcana check to confirm whether this is a kelpie and she has to make a will save and is drawn toward it. I shout "CALLED IT! Kelpie!" and the group loses their shit and the my guy manages to get her away from it before she can actually touch it and gets attacked. The healer (a witch rather than a cleric) melts the thing with some necrotic damage.
