There are several updates for the goat story: apparently the lady spent a few nights in jail and her husband used pratically all their money to bail her out. Everyone is ashamed of her, both her family and town folks. Except that due to Covid, her husband lost his job and they are now struggling. OP is thinking of dropping the charges as to not make things worse for them. I think he is too nice, if someone had selfishly tried to steal my cats, even if that person is at the bottom of a hole, I'll take a shovel and keep digging myself. Even more if it was something premeditated for days.

@@JDM-is-my-name You're right! But, the way I figure it, and it has proven to work, is that I don't owe anyone any explanation as to why I don't. I state I don't babysit and leave it at that. If they want to beg and cajole, I am engaging in THEIR argument, which I refuse to do. I shouldn't have to state my reasons. I find that making excuses only extends the argument and I don't need to offer any. I raised my three and am raising two of my daughter's children. I just don't feel I need to explain that in response. I spent a lot of years doing things for other people. I'm in my 60's now. I enjoyed most of it, but, some people were vampires, emotional vampires, that sapped me dry with their drama and needs of me. Not any more. Sigh.

Coming from experience owning goats, you never ever, eveerrr, take that baby away from its parents without “permission” from its parents. We did that once and the mama broke down the pen as we were loading the wee kid into our car. Thought she was gonna tear us up. Fiery things goats are. 😆

So, that goat story was basically this mother wanted her own pet goat for her kids, but instead of getting one herself, she kidnaps someone else's and Bruce saw what she was doing and attacked her to save his kids, but she tried to frame that as a vicious goat attacking her for no reason. She should know that animals tend to be very protective of their young and thus, becoming vicious towards anything that tries to harm their young.

Some nonsense stuff is happening with OP, checked up on him a few weeks back. -r/Slash reading it has made his story blow up, to the point that he's getting PM's and comments daily asking for the video. -Because he went to court, he couldn't release the video for two months. -That time is done, but now he's sick of people asking him for the video and pictures. -He refused r/Slash's offer, and thinks its scammy and even an asshole move for his price offer, thinking "he's just a KZbinr profiting off of it." -He regrets posting the story, and very likely will no longer release the video. -Part of his attitude is because of being from East Tennessee; I am an outsider that lives in the same area, and he just feels hassled and unobligated to provide anyone anything (this is a common notion to this part of the state).
