Recorded on Wednesday 10 February 2021 as part of The Royal Society of Medicine's In Conversation Live series.
The Most Revd and Rt Hon Justin Welby is the 105th and current Archbishop of Canterbury and senior bishop in the Church of England.
Archbishop Justin talked to Professor Sir Simon Wessely, RSM immediate Past-President, about his extensive career and ministry, his perspective on how COVID-19 has impacted communities and the UK economy. They also discuss the importance of mental wellbeing, and the challenge of re-imagining Britain; a belief that Christian heritage values can pave the way to hope and wisdom while embracing the multi-faith and multi-cultural society Britain is today - from Archbishop Justin’s 2018 book 'Reimagining Britain: Foundations for Hope'.
The RSM's In Conversation Live series offers the opportunity to get first-hand insights into the lives and thoughts of high profile individuals through an intimate, relaxed and entertaining setting, direct to your living room.
