Interesting snippet about the station. Am I right in thinking that the train line is still in use? I can remember cruising along the Yare, many years ago, and seeing great mountains of river bottom piled up on the river bank. I believe the authorities had to maintain a minimum water depth. Even so some of the commercial vessels were still ploughing through the mud. You take some lovely stills Lisa. Richard Notts

6 miles at sea level and 52 miles from the top of mountains. There are videos by other people on KZbin, who show you the distances and reading signs really far away. It’s incredible.
