Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi or the Mahatma as he was later known was assassinated on 30th January, 1948 by Nathuram Godse. The programme looks into his relevance 70 years later, his contributions, philosophy and his teachings.

Unfortunately, today's youth seemingly hates Gandhi because 1. Their information about Gandhi is based on, what they have heard from some fanatics 2. Don't know about his ideology first hand. 3. Being portrayed as anti Hindu. 4. Don't know about his contributions for India's independence. I too was someone who stumbled upon this category. But only till I was unaware and had not read about him and analysed his life for myself. Remember my friend's that this is the man whom our forefathers followed and considered their leader.
