Thanks for doing this video. I am doing mine now. I did notice in the service manual, that you don't need to do the spring compression tool part. If you rotate the machined piece that sits on top of the spring, it will align with the nut flats and allow you to use and adjustable to get to the nut.

nice fingering action! Thanks for these videos! I ended up buying a Tuono V4 after watching the valve guide video (and the cassette video). Would love a video on something like bearings, particularly the rear swingarm. Otherwise a head replacement on the V4 or the installation of the extra strenght clip in the gear selection mechanism or basically any V4 video. These are such great bikes at a great price (second hand) because people assume they are going to be Italian divas. The only issue with mine, after 6000km in 1 year, is finding neutral is sometimes difficult, gearbox,sometimes, doesn't want to find 6th gear on the motorway and a hot starting issue (but water temp has to go above 105c celsius). So, if I can have a great bike and maintain it mysel using your videos, then I'm more than happy!

AlfaAddict good plan. seems to me that if you get an aprilia made on a good day then its a great bike. I was lucky, many driends of mine were not. Next time i need to do any work on this one i’ll likely drop the engine and install PAIR blockoffs. And I’ll video everything, including milling the blockoffs.

Hi Shaun, thanks a lot for your video. What is your front stand model because mine touch the front fairing and even the air duct input, i would like to change it :) thanks a lot , i feel ready to do the same fork operation now :D

A bunch of helis at the back! one is definitely 90 size Xcell with V-blades (fury?), what is another one Kyosho? or JR? and that small guy must be a T-rex LOL

Hi Shaun - have you/did you do the mod where you remove the plastic spacer from the bottom of the fork and then change the amount of oil...?
