This is an absolutely fantastic series, which I'd never seen before. And man am I hooked. I've been watching for the past two weeks and I can't get enough. It's a shame that the series was cancelled in 2014, but with 20 years of episodes to catch up on, I won't have withdrawal symptoms (as I had with HISTORY COLD CASE) to worry about for the foreseeable future. Thanks for posting this great series.

They brought some of the cast back and have just recently posted the first episode. Stewart, John, Matt, Helen, and Carenza are back

Shouldn't have said "cast" because they are accomplished in their fields and they aren't acting. My apologies

@@TheFarajaka I just tell people that “some of their favourite Original Time Time Members are back at work on the ‘new’ series” - I finished my degree in cultural anthropology and historical archeology ~ 3 years before Original Time Team’s final season, and I still think of these people as both leaders in my field, and proper television stars ⭐️ . :) I think it’s ok for “people accomplished in their field” - like these guys- to also be famous “TV stars” - I love it when historians etc. are well liked and famous and Held in High Regard - rather such skilled people who promote this study be lifted up than plenty of other “actors” out there ;)

It's a shame that Time Team ended up getting the ax in 2014. There's no television show like it that I know of, and we may never see its like again. That said, though, even if the show somehow gets renewed with the same title, format and people, it's not Time Team without the late Professor Mick Aston.
@TheEliseRodgers2 жыл бұрын
It’s definitely not the same - and it isn’t just because Professor Aston has passed! However, I recommend that you check out the New Digs that year 2022 Time Team has carried out. I think the 3 day shows for each dig has felt more like some of the better “Specials” done by the Original Team, the spirit of historical archeology For The People is still there, and, while there are great times with old familiar faces, it’s really great to see “the next generation” carrying on the work in the way that Professor Aston and other greats taught us to care about it!
