This is an absolutely beautiful reading of one of my favorite books. The chapters being out of order is mildly annoying, so a huge thanks to the vigilance of several listeners, who posted chapter start times in the parts 2&3. Thank you, Mr. David Clarke, for making this difficult to follow text so accessible. Bravo, bravi, brava!

Besides the bothersome problem with the chapter being misread, I am so grateful for this excellent rendition of this fantastic book. In my opinion, this is so much better than the Three Musketeers. The complex plot is manageable because the dialogue, descriptions, and characters are so compelling. I love the voices of the narrator. Thank you, volunteers!!!

I great book read by a person with remarkable skill. I truly enjoyed listening to this oration in its entirety. The only thing I would change was the authors final remark, that to hope and wait was the best we could do. I may have said to hope wait and act was the best we could do, because without action nothing would have been accomplished or ever would be. So hope and wait for your opportunity to act and you may change the course of your life or even the world. Thank you so very much for the many hours I spent enjoying this book.

Thank you so much mr. Clark for this wonderful recording! It was extremely enjoyable! I realize how hard it must be to do 58 hours plus or equaling to 2 and 1/4 days straight a recording, and how much dedication you had to finish this. You have my extreme thanks and appreciation! I hope to find some more books you have narrated.

One of the best, I agree. The book and narration. I'm very particular about audiobooks, but this one was nothing but a pleasure and very well worth the time. My appreciation to Mr. Clarke as well.

@@glorygracek.1841 Thank goodness kind stranger's have made navigating the uploading errors much more tolerable. At first, I was extremely confused, but once I started listening and looking, it wasn't as bad as it seemed from first glance. The chapters for this final section had been listed but without the titles, but I fixed that. It didn't take too much effort, again, thanks to the kindness of strangers. I also enjoyed this reading so much, I hunted up Mr. Clarke's website and sent him a thank you note. I will be listening to this again...as soon as I get caught up on my canning and sleep. LOL! I've been so absorbed by this story, it's been difficult to pause it and do anything else!

So I read this when I was in my early 20’s and thought it was fantastic. Now, at 36, with three kids and some life experience, I’m like, what an asshole! You can’t be the cause of killing someone’s entire family and feel justified because one person wronged you. Then he’s like, 🤔, did I go too far? Yes! Asshat! You DEFINITELY went too far!
