The adverts are for Heineken, Allied Irish Bank, Texco, PG Tips, Rolo, Coca Cola, Quinnsworth and The Telecom Eireann advert supported Olympics I Beleive its from Summer of 1984 a warm summer that I was born in.

what a fantastic blast from the past I remember Maurice Pratt the shiney lovely boy on the quinsworth ad's driving all the ould wans shopping mad LOL the rolo ad I was waiting for him to draw line on the girls shoe and I saw a box of country store anyone remember the jingle for that ? bring me apple's bring me hazelnuts bring me good thing to eat from kellogs country store . I remember borrowing the brothers walk man in about 86 or 87 when going off to the local town of a Saturday I had neil young harvest on there and I was walking along the left side of the quite country road ready to thumb a car when one came up on me and I never heard it I nearly jumped out of my skin I saw cans of Harp lager too I drank 4 pints of it when I was 16 in 86 I never got as sick in all my life it was desperate shite . in 84 I remember MT USA with Vincent Hanley he was the first famous irish person to die from aids he was over in America beaming the show back to us I remember zz top being on there off the top of my head . I was still going to school in my duffel coat and dr marten boots on the white CIE school bus yellow with a white stripe and the black children crossing stickers on it . I was only telling my two young lads about MT USA being the highlight of our week . for a slightly ore recent blast from the past I stumbled upon on face book recently photos from feila in thurles in the early 90's I was at the first one great memories every one had a great time no trouble and probably several children fathered by a bloke called John from cork With a black mullet hair cut and moustache and stone washed denim jacket and jeans and ac/dc t shirt well I think his name was John LOL
