Saying what a fu---in' Ass he was behind the wife's back. Drinking in the parking lot. But the Priest didn't know the family at all so everyone Zoned out til he was done. The more I watch these videos the more I start to suspect that Irish people and Black Americans are two sides of the same coin. We fully expect two people to attempt to jump into the grave with the body at a large funeral and one to succeed. The conversations are exactly the same. Someone is always: asking who’s gonna pay the $10 they’re owed, saying they knew it was coming, spilling all sorts of family secrets that half of everybody knew and really just reconnecting with family members you hardly see and quietly congratulating their accomplishment since you’ve last spoken. “Oh honey it’s awful. Well he’s with the Lord now. Now I heard you graduated is that true? Did you get our card? We didn’t receive a call or a thank you so we weren’t sure.” The only exception is we take our outfits and our food very seriously. I have left a funeral wondering who made the macaroni and cheese then asking about it years later at every family function.
