It's a bit historically inaccurate, but child labor in factories and modern contexts does get rid of itself. While morally an issue, having such morals is tbh a modern luxury created by industrialization; child labor was used since time immemorial to produce enough to survive (and at worse paying and more dangerous farm labor). Unfortunately to just ban it without the economy being developed enough leads to horrible consequences, like in bangladesh

I mean if we're talking about developing a modern economy in a historical context? Kinda, yeah. Child labor has been used (because it's necessary for producing enough to survive) since time immemmorial, children working in factories and whatnot (which is historically safer and less hard work than the traditional farm labor, as well as paying more which is why children often gravitate towards such jobs) is a natural continuation. Thankfully them doing so helps to grow the efficiency of the economy through industrialization as well as making their families wealthier, making child labor unnecessary in the long run as society grows insanely wealthy (relative to earlier ages) and adults alone can support families due to higher paying jobs and cheaper goods. What's really demonstrative is when child labor is banned before it becomes obselete; take bangladesh. Some western activists got it banned there and children starved, sometimes to death, child prostitution became incredibly rampant because look at the other option, and those who could (as labor on small farms is always excempted in this sort of thing) went back to harder, more dangerous, worse paying work on small farms. The economy still hasn't recovered, so this will probably all not get better or take far longer to do so.
